Trying to get someone to return phone calls doesn’t happen. My husband left multiple messages and since we are out of state, we can’t just go there to talk to someone.

I recommend that you find a different lawyer. This guy never returned phone calls and never responded to my emails. His reviews are terrible. Find a better lawyer !

Great attorney

This is the second time I've used the office of Randy Rubin to represent me. Both cases were very personal and extremely important to my family. Both cases were successful and his office showed the utmost professionalism and treated me like family, more than a client. I highly recommend Randy Rubin and his staff to take on any challenge you may have.

Omg, where do I start? I had representation in a courtroom for no more than 4 hours, 2 “15 minute” meetings and 4 phone calls with an attorney from this firm for a whopping (almost) $10,000. You will be sent multiple single line emails and be charged an absurd amount of money. I have received bills where I was charged thousands of dollars when not one minute was spent working on my case. When I sent an email requesting an email contain more than 1 sentence because of the price I was released by the firm. During my “15 minute” meetings I sat in an office alone while my attorney and staff discussed personal matters (dogs and significant others) in which I was billed for 1 hour of each person’s time. The reason for releasing me was “breakdown in communication”. The horrible thing is when the office/attorney actually did convey pertinent information to my case it was wrong or contradictory to itself. IE: i sent an email asking if my court date was still scheduled for XX date/time or was it rescheduled. Attorneys response: yes. Multiple follow up emails were sent to the attorney and staff requesting clarification and I received no response. I arrived as scheduled and it was rescheduled. Lastly and most importantly, I notified the attorneys office that I have a debilitating neurological issue that has caused me to have to quit working and could i possibly start a payment plan as large sums of money are impossible to pay at one time on disability and was responded back with?!?!?! NOTHING!!! Just checking my emails and I sent this email on 6 different occasions and never received a response even though the emails were read. Note: only females are offered payment plans. So if you’re looking for quality representation at fair market value please look elsewhere. Only the super wealthy that can afford to outlast others wallets will have good results from here. I was told my case shouldn’t take more than $5,000. Double that amount later and I’m released because I have no money.

The Initial conversation I had with one of the lawyers was being charged per min. They definitely rounded up, and a large portion of the conversation was her talking about her dog, which I could’ve cared less about. I didn’t know she was gonna charge me for listening to her stories. Almost all of her paperwork I had to send back for her to correct simple mistakes that she made. Like wrong names, wrong addresses, etc. I was charged for those mistakes also Then several months after my case was done I asked the lawyer a question, she sent me a three sentence email back with a $200 bill for asking a question!

Worthless cut throat

Mr. Rubin was amazing to work with. He and his staff worked with me thru a terrible divorce and custody case. He was supportive and available. He kept me informed step by step. Thanks to his advice and help I was able protect my child and settle my case.

His office and I agreed on a price per hour, I made an appointment and three weeks after, one week before the appointment they notified me they were raising the agreed rate. i questioned them saying that is not ethical, they got irritated and told me that was tough. I waited three weeks when I could have gotten another attorney that is ethical and does not change an agreed upon written contract.

Folks that are downgrading Randy and his team may be missing the point. When you are at the point in your life where you find yourself in need of their services, a myriad of things have probably already gone wrong. Is Randy slightly abrupt in his approach? Perhaps, but that should be expected. In my own experience I could have found representation that made an effort to try and paint a rosy picture of my situation, and then acted shocked if things didn't go to plan. That isn't Randy's style at all. From the initial consult to the last day with the team, they were clear about what was going to happen, and what my expectations should be. Neither Randy or Gillian ever make a promise based upon what I wanted to hear, only what the current facts supported. My case was long, but throughout, Randy, Gillian, and Angela were there to ensure that I was prepared as possible for the likely outcomes, and kept me on track with the work I needed to be doing to ensure that my interests were being protected. If you are looking for an attorney that will be prepared, and work with you to ensure you are prepared for whatever your the opposition throws at you, you should look at this team. They will challenge you - but this is in your best interest to prepare you for what is to come. I had no doubt that my interests were well represented, and felt like I had the best possible outcome given my situation. Thank you Randy, Gillian, Angela, and the rest of the team.
