Recently I had the pleasure of working with Chandler Wren attorney with Gilroy Napoli and Short. Chandler is the first attorney I have ever worked with that made me feel like they actually cared about me and if I was actually innocent or guilty. For me that is the highest compliment given to an attorney. She is knowledgeable and surrounded by staff and attorneys who have a great deal of experience. I would without hesitation ask her to represent me again if the need comes up, which I hope it doesn’t.

You know what sucks? When someone tries to ruin your life by dragging you through the legal system. Thankfully, Gilroy Napoli Short was there to help. I was facing 4 felonies and 3 years in prison due to false Domestic Violence accusations. With these types of charges, I wasn't about to play with my freedom. I wanted the best representation to help clear my name. Through a Google search, I was able to get into contact with Melodie Dickey. PHENOMONAL! We hadn't even met in person, and after 5 minutes of chatting on the phone we had felt like we knew each other for years. I will never forget when she said, "Josh....I've spoken with criminals.....and you are NOT a criminal" That was before she even looked at any evidence that I had. My family and I decided on hiring Melodie, and she agreed to take my case. Melodie is smart as a whip! She knew EXACTLY how we had to approach this case in order to get a win. Melodie stayed on top of my case the entire time. She was heavy on the communication which was appreciated. There were times where we didn't speak for 1-2 weeks, but thats only because she had no updates for me. The moment an update rolled through, she was calling or texting to inform me. While at court one day, she asked me to search some texts that were sent to me from my accuser. She was hoping for additional context. What we found were pics that she had sent to me and to the police which were conflicting based on her false claims. Melodie recognized the photos immediately and said, "THIS IS GOLD!" I tell you what.....nothing better than hearing Melodie say that something is gold. She said that a few times through the 6 months it took to clear my name. Yes.....6 months. And NEVER did she complain, never did she tell me to leave her alone, etc....she was incredible. My accuser had been arrested for violating her probation and she tried calling me from jail multiple times. I called Melodie after hours (she was preparing to leave on vacation with her family) and she STOPPED EVERYTHING to take my call and hear me out. You cant tell me every attorney works that way. Once all the evidence was packaged up by the investigator, Melodie sent it over to the DA letting him know he had a mountain of evidence to review. About two weeks after......Melodie called me around 9am on a Friday. She said, "Do you want to hear some incredible news? It's all been dismissed!!" I LITERALLY dropped to the ground and sobbed for the next 15 minutes. She did it! After 6 months, losing a job, wearing an ankle monitor, and fearing for my freedom......she did what she said she was going to do and got the whole thing dismissed. If you are in need of an amazing defense attorney....SPEND THE MONEY....Hire Melodie and she will do her absolute best to provide you with the same outcome she provided me.

If your looking for a great attorney for a simple defense matter, this attorney is great. As far as a complex high profile case, I would definitely not choose this attorney. He is very concerned with ruffling the feathers of any judge, and will cave at every hearing. I was blind sided by many additional fees that were supposedly covered on the initial agreement. Jason promised his fees were up to and including a settlement conference, which he didn't do. Have your eyes wide open is you retain this attorney.
