Initially, I was just looking to modify a Parenting Plan I had in place with my ex-husband. I got online and got the necessary forms from the courthouse website. I was overwhelmed and knew that, if I wanted this done right, I would need an attorney. I was referred to Katherine. She saw me right away and set to work requesting the modification of the Parenting Plan. The situation changed dramatically, however, and the need for an Immediate Danger order arose. Katherine acted quickly and professionally in what was a very chaotic and emotional time for me. The needed Immediate Danger order was established and, ultimately, the Parenting Plan was modified, giving me the custody and parenting time I was looking for. I don't think I could have done this without Katherine. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

I hired Ms. Denning to help resolve a complex multi-county, multi-state Child Support debacle that had literally run my personal and financial lives into the ground for nearly 6 years. I was hopeful but not entirely sold on the notion that an attorney could even help. Not only did Ms. Denning manage to navigate and resolve all of the inconsistencies and systemic issues in my case but she went the extra mile to help protect me against foreseeable hurdles over the next several years of my case. Her relationships with established leadership in my local court system as well as her ability to establish new contacts in other jurisdictions firmly established her as one of the few local professionals I would refer to members of my own family. I could go on and on with the accolades about her; knowledgeable and helpful staff, her professional but approachable demeanor and her ability to quickly identify core issues... but if you are reading this review because you are simply overwhelmed or out of options in your current case just call her office and schedule a consultation.... today while Ms. Denning is both available and affordable.

As the title states, I was trying to locate my daughter after coming home from a Afghanistan deployment with the US Army. The mother had since ended all communication at the start of the deployment. Katherine forced my daughter's mother to finally contact us, let me see my daughter, and ultimately get a solid parenting time. I emphasize the word "forced" as my daughter was about to move out of state without me knowing it. Negotiations went far and long that included a small trial. At times, Katherine had to deal with my military abrupt and blunt written communications, but she did so in a professional matter. She was also up-front with the costs, which went fairly high, but at the same time she told me to expect it and told our Private Investigator to not spend much. That helped greatly. Afterwards, she replied to my emails about what the court documents meant to an untrained eye such as myself, with no extra costs. She worked for my best interest. I researched how much lawyers charge prior, and her cost could be a lot more, plus she will get even better with experience. All-in-all, she did a great job. I would hire her again.

finding a lawyer that would have a sincere concern for your family and its legal concern is no easy task, especially if you live 2000 miles out of state. I probably spoke to 15 different lawyers before I came across Katherine Denning at Boaz law firm. There was an immediate sense of urgency and genuine concern for the welfare of my children's well being. I knew right away Ms Denning was going to be instrumental in successfully winning my custody battle. She approached every possible angle from having my kids new teachers and counselors call in to testify on my kids behalf, finding text transcript discrepancies where my ex removed certain responses. The level of preparedness Ms Denning walked into the court room with was something that should be emulated by her peers, cross examining my ex was a beautiful moment, further driving her lack of credibility into the ground to the point where none of her "witnesses" were found to be credible "witnesses". The entire day in court was a pleasant and comfortable experience. Finally, the closing statement, during the hearing it was clear to me all day long that my kids well being was a priority for Ms Denning, but her closing statement was written with an unparalleled level of heart and dedication! I have never heard anything so well written covering every aspect of my ex's lack of good character and her choices that led us to all be in court that day, further exemplifying my ex's inability to be a positive influence while providing a mothering, parent like environment. If you are looking for a lawyer who will give your case her all, Katherine Denning with Boaz law firm is the first and only phone call you would need to make.

This attorney does a decent job, but isn't superb. She's easily to get along with and prompt. However, there were several instances that I felt frustrated working with her. We would talk about the case and I would get off the phone feeling that she understood financial aspects of the case, or that she understood and agreed with my proposals; however, the next time I would have a conversation with her she wouldn't be on the same page anymore. I found myself having to repeat things that I thought were already in place. There was also a instance that I wanted her to get further financial information that was important to the case and she didn't think it was necessary. However, additional banking information is important. In the end I ended up feeling that she wasn't advocating for me and that I compromised more then I should have. In court she comes off as very confident and doesn't rub the judge the wrong way. However, she didn't put together a good case for me. I also ended up paying her for reviewing documents she had already reviewed several times before (she reviewed each document about 3 times, but still didn't know the information very throughly). I think it would help if she took more notes and did a more through assessment the first time around. To summarize, she got the job done but not well. She seems smart and competent, but she's lacking experience. I wasn't told that she was a new attorney, but I paid just as much to have her as my attorney. I imagine that with more practice she could be a better attorney.
