Lauren was recommended to me by two other attorneys, both of whom were exactly correct in their advice regarding her expertise. She did an absolutely outstanding job in handeling my divorce and anticipating situations that could/would arise. She was available as needed and was quick to respond to questions and to my legal needs. Very thorough in her actions. I have delt with many attorneys over the past 65 years, she is, without a doubt, the best of any and all.

Lauren provided direct insight and guidance like no other lawyer I've ever experienced over a 4 year divorce. I engaged over 10 lawyers in Oregon and Lauren was massively better than any other lawyer. Her ability to manage opposing lawyers and judges, as well as me (the client) was outstanding. Lauren uses honesty as a first principal, rather than playing off of client fears and control so common with most lawyers. We had a plan, clear boundary conditions and a range of outcome expectations. Lauren is the best. The process of getting divorced has was a significant event in my life. Her representation was beneficial to me during the challenging and unsure times during the process. She kept me on task and helped me sort out what to worry about and what not to, and prodded me along effectively in preparing the paperwork for the court and the judge to fairly and efficiently adjudicate. Further, I was confident that if things turned nasty I wouldn't be steamrolled in any way. I would add that I believe her representation was a strong deterrent to keep things from becoming confrontational during the process. And, for whatever legal representation I may need in the future I'll contact her first.

Lauren represented me in a very complex and contentious case, including a transfer from out of state, and custody issues. I first met with her when I was still pro se, and she advised me on a couple court filings. She was efficient, knowledgeable, and I could tell she would be cool in the face of pressure. When the case ramped up, I knew Lauren was who I wanted to represent me. My case ended up with a full-day trial, and I would also like to address Lauren's approach to court. She is strategic, thorough, and highly focused in what she chooses to address in cross-examination. She does not get emotionally entangled in the case, but maintains a laser focus, and will calm you down if you begin letting emotions get the best of you (which is easy to do in cases involving children, large amounts of money, etc.). She is clear at all times that she cannot predict outcomes of the court system, but she also gives her honest assessment of the outcomes. In my case, she was right or very near right in each matter. She works hard to understand your goals, but also is knowledgeable about what is realistic. She also aims to fully understand her opponents, and works hard to ensure you present yourself well before the judge. If there is an avenue that does not seem fruitful or does not seem beneficial to your case, she will advise you of this. Ultimately you are in charge of your case, but there is nobody better to legally represent your interests in custody and divorce matters than Lauren Saucy.

Paul Saucy of Saucy & Saucy, P.C. had handled the trial portion of my divorce case beautifully and effectively. The moment Lauren Saucy learned that the opposing party had filed a notice to appeal, she called me to explain the appeals process and asked if I wanted her to represent me. I, of course, said yes, and from that time on I could not have been better represented through the appeal. Lauren mastered the case early on and suggested the most likely outcome range. She provided well-thought analysis of the opposition's arguments and her counter-arguments. She was spot-on identifying important points and downplaying fluff. She guided me through a settlement offer that was never acknowledged. At each step, she kept me apprised of upcoming events. I am certain that Lauren Saucy is the best divorce appellate attorney!

Lauren is excellent. She worked with me on a difficult divorce and helped me and my spouse come to workable terms in a very complex situation. This was not a cookie cutter divorce in any way.
