Before hiring Collier Law, we vetted a few other firms in Salem and after our initial 90-minute interview with Jacob Sinclair, we felt confident with our decision. Jacob's thorough knowledge and experience of Oregon trust laws, his ability to listen well, respect our concerns AND address ALL of our questions, really helped to ease the emotionally charged, personal process. Overall, our experience was extremely positive and we'd definitely recommend Collier Law and Jacob in particular. Jacob explained things thoughtfully and carefully and sometimes had to explain them more than once. He's a consummate professional with the perfect combination of sensitivity, patience and Task Leadership! He was extremely organized with the paperwork and it was evident the support staff are equally committed as a team. One note of feedback: Early in the process there were some inconsistencies with verbal and electronic communication however, once we voiced our concerns and needs, Jacob and the staff responded in kind and our experience was satisfactory thereafter. Ryan Collier did an excellent job of explaining the complete process of estate planning to my mother and I. The materials and checklists at the end of the process has helpful for us to get the last final bits completed.

I had a great experience from my first call for an appointment. The person answering my call was friendly and very competent. I was looking for an attorney to write a will for me. An appointment was made, and I felt comfortable with the time frame. I went in with my notes, (the office had a video you could watch online, that helped a lot) after getting suggestions from the video. I had an appointment with Stephanie, an attorney who went over everything she had to tell me, then she listened to what I had in mind. I then scheduled back to go over everything to make sure it was right. They sent me a copy of the notes to make sure her notes were right, and there were a few name changes I wanted to make. I had my next appointment to go over the details of the documents with Jacob an attorney who explained everything making sure it was what I wanted, before I signed and notarized the papers. The whole experience was excellent. Everyone was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and put me completely at ease. I would definitely recommend Collier Law firm to anyone who is interested in doing a will or estate planning. They covered everything I had questions about and went the extra distance with information I didn’t even know I needed.
