However, Sherwood Family Law goes out of their way to remove the fear and anxiety from the experience enabling you to focus on what really matters and deserves your attention. I personally communicated with Ryan Hamilton, Daniel Strasburg, Katie Sullivan and Shelby Arthur and found them all to be understanding and professional, not to mention very good at communicating clearly. Dan, Katie, Taylor, Megan and the entire Sherwood Family Law team are the BEST!! #1 law office - without a doubt. I walked into their law office terrified and in a very hopeless and dark time in my life. With their expertise and knowledge, Dan and team helped me to navigate one of the most difficult experiences of my life - the divorce process. Dan is an outstanding attorney. He made sure that I was aware of different options I had numerous times throughout the process. Reviewed the pros/cons without trying to persuade me either way and ultimately giving me the information to make my own decisions. As stressed and nervous as I was until things were finalized, I felt much more at ease and confident having Dan as my attorney. Katie and Taylor are the unsung heroes. Excellent at communicating, keeping all on track, answering my many questions, and preparing extensively especially when things came down to the wire. Also two of the kindest humans around. Not sure how, but I got the old 'conflict of interest' spiel from these guys when trying to retain them for my divorce again. Seems pretty weak to me. I'd suggest somewhere else.

This was the best experience I've had working with a law firm, family or not, and I've had to hire many lawyers for various reasons. :) Elysa was fantastic from start to end. She walked me through the process to get a child support modification. All went smoothly and I couldn't be more pleased.

Total flakes. Do yourself a favor try all the competition first. Find an attorney with real life experience. Hope this helps.

I feel very lucky I happened to pick Sherwood Family Law, mostly based on these very reviews, when I needed help with my divorce. Ryan and his team were extremely professional, honest, and straightforward. They supported my desire that we could come to an agreement with the opposing party rather than go to court. However, if it had gone that way, I was confident that they would have represented me very well in court. Ryan always gave me sound and logical advice, and was clearly knowledgeable about the law in the state. He never made false promises and at no point did I feel like I was being taken advantage of in any way. I felt their costs were reasonable and they were always up front about them. I never got a surprise bill. Divorce is sad, stressful, and scary, but working with Sherwood Family Law made it a little easier. In the end, I was very happy with the agreement we were able to reach with the opposing party. I can’t recommend Ryan and his team enough.
