I contacted Henry Rau regarding my mother's will (prepared by Henry) because I was the power of attorney and needed to ask some questions. One of my siblings was coercing my mother for money, and I needed guidance. The lawyer returned my call over a week later and claimed I was not the power of attorney, stating that someone else was listed. He also informed me that my mother had amended her will and now had only one child instead of three. Needless to say, I was shocked by this information. It turned out Henry was reading the wrong will. He never apologized and instead blamed me, claiming he didn’t have my mother’s name—despite the fact that I had surely provided it in my message. The excuse made no sense, especially since he had called me back specifically about my mother. After causing significant turmoil in my family, it became clear that he had been reading my will, not my mother’s. Throughout the ordeal, Henry took no accountability for his mistake, never apologized, and instead shifted the blame onto me while boasting about the number of cases he’s handled over the years. I deeply regret giving this attorney my business. His incompetence and arrogance are glaring.

I had a small real estate issue concerning my home that I wasn't sure how to address. Henry gave me straightforward and helpful advice to make sure I didn't misstep. Happily would consult with him again.

I find Henry to not only be highly knowledgable in his field, but he goes to the distance to makes things easy and present information in a way that is easy to understand. This speaks volumes about Henry's care and thoughtfulness in his work. Highly recommend!

I was nervous when my son turned 18. As a single parent you always worry extra about your kids, but what if something happened and because he was 18 I no longer had a legal voice. Or, what if something happened to me? I am so grateful to Henry at Rau Law Firm for calming my fears and helping with the process. It was so easy I don't know why I worried in the first place.

Henry is easy to like. And he used that to make it easy for me to tell him what my wife and I wanted to have happen with our estate. He asked a lot of questions to make sure he was fully aware of our parameters. Then he laid out a strategy to accomplish what we wanted. He took extra time to explain how it would work, and what was needed to make it work correctly. Henry made it easy to get everything done.
