Pros
1
Excellent legal expertise and advocacy skills
“I knew immediately I had hired a brilliant legal mind. Ms. Noll was front and center on everything from counseling me on proper, court-savvy communications with my ex-spouse, to walking me through each step of the subsequent litigation process.”
2
Thorough and strategic approach to cases
“I knew that Ms. Noll was setting me up for success by insisting she have all the information and tools to advance my position. To that end, she was relentless in her pursuit of an equitable outcome.”
3
Prompt and responsive communication
“Attorney Noll communicated with me promptly, through the weekend, and ensured that I was able to meet with her and the team in advance of my scheduled hearing.”
4
Strong relationships with judges and other attorneys
“Attorney Noll is well established and respected in the Lehigh Valley area. She understands the nuances of the local court systems and has an excellent working relationship with the judges and other prominent attorneys.”
5
Aggressive and effective in the courtroom
“She is fierce in the courtroom and draws a crowd of my supporters just to see her in action! She is so well-prepared and knows all the right questions to ask. She is a strong advocate for me and, as a result, my children. She is tough! She is the epitome of a shark!”
Cons
1
Lack of emotional support or hand-holding
“You also need to be prepared to put the work in and give your attorney as much information and detail that you possibly can in order for her to apply her legal expertise any appropriate strategy for the given situation. Attorney Noll does her job very well, but don't confuse her as someone who is going to constantly remind you of things or follow up to make sure that you did the things that you were supposed to or white glove you and hand hold you through every step.”
2
Clients need to be proactive and organized
“In addition to having her in your court, you need to do the research and understand the steps and make sure that you do what you tell her you're going to do, when you tell her you're going to do it.”

I cannot thank Heidi and Amy enough for the exceptional support and representation they have provided for my family. Their dedication, professionalism, and compassion have been unmatched throughout this challenging time. Heidi’s expertise in custody and support matters along with her strategic approach gave me confidence at every step, while Amy’s attention to detail ensured that nothing was overlooked. Together, they make an incredible team, always available to answer questions, explain options, and provide guidance in a way that’s easy to understand during uncertain times. What sets them apart is their empathy and commitment to achieving the best possible outcome. I always feel they truly care about my family’s well-being, not just the legal process. With their collaboration I’ve been able to navigate an elongated emotional situation with confidence and poise. If you’re looking for attorneys who are not only skilled but also deeply invested in their clients’ success, Heidi and Amy are the best choice in the Lehigh Valley. I’m incredibly grateful for their support and wholeheartedly recommend their legal services for custody, child support, or any family matter that requires elite representation.

Attorney Noll is fierce and knowledgeable. She is well prepared for court proceedings and has always had my best interest in mind. She responds to calls and emails in a very timely manner, including after hours and on weekends, as does Attorney Koren. Attorney Noll has represented me in PFA matters, custody, and divorce. It’s been helpful that she knows the ins and outs of my case from all aspects and can navigate how they affect each other. She is calm and confident, qualities I need in an attorney, especially when I am feeling intimidated by the process or by the defendant. She and Attorney Koren work well together as a cohesive team. They are like a well oiled machine and clearly have things down to a science to achieve best outcomes. I’m very grateful to them both.

While I was struggling with a difficult ex-spouse including custody issues, Ms. Noll and team were there to support me at every step. Divorce was difficult, but I was confident that the very best outcome in every situation would be achieved. That peace of mind was very important to me allowing me tofocus on my day-to-day life instead of worrying about the issues and outcome.

During the first consultation she spoke at length, in detail, and in a way that I could understand what all of my options were. Attorney Noll from minute one was giving strategies and different approaches and had a plan B C and D for everything while other attorneys I consulted simply brushed it offas a simple divorce and custody. She was able to give me the confidence I needed to stand up and fight for what was legally mine. Throughout the entire process, she has been forthcoming diligent and has a real take no bull approach. I mean this as a compliment to say she is a shark. After every hearing I walk away feeling empowered and knowing I had the best possible representation. She is prompt in responding when I have a question or need advice on how to handle something with my coparent. 10 out of 10 would absolutely hire again and would recommend to anyone.

Attorney Noll represented me in both a PFA and Child Custody Case. Regretfully, I had been brought up on false charges of abuse and domestic terrorism, then accused of falsely kidnapping my own children while working hard to provide them with a healthy environment to grow in after a failed relationship. Attorney Noll got the false allegations in the PFA dropped and assisted me with getting primary custody of my children. She is professional, knowledgeable, and has the skill set to effectively represent you in your case. I recommend you to seriously consider Attorney Noll as your legal representative in any civil and family related court cases.

Tim was a great representative throughout my whole trial. He was there whenever my family or myself had questions or whenever we had any doubts. This was my first (and last) offense which means I was very lost when figuring out what exactly I had gotten myself into. Tim was very helpful in making me understand exactly what was expected of me in court and when filling out paperwork for my case. With his help I got into ARD, something I really thank him for as I had to go through reconsideration after my case was denied at first. He made sure to keep in contact with everyone who could possibly help me and was very quick at answering and sending me emails regarding updates on my case. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience with him and he made this process feel easier than what I had expected.

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Allentown, Pennsylvania?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
