Attorney Bartkus was instrumental in assisting with my IRS nightmares! Due to some ill-informed tax advice I received years ago, I was in some huge debt to the IRS. How huge you ask? Well to the tune of over $125k over a few years (granted I am sure a portion of that included their fees and compounding interest). Attorney Bartkus suggested that I file an Offer In Compromise to help remedy the situation. Initially it was accepted but the amount that the IRS was requesting was really not feasible given my situation and I grew concerned. Attorney Bartkus explained to me that I should remain calm and he was going to counter and included a personal note to the reviewing Agent. Well, what he said must have worked. I was able to settle just about $125k for under $3k...literally pennies on the dollar! Attorney Bartkus was crucial in helping me escape my IRS issues!
