Mr Scarafone, Esq, did exactly what he said he would do, how he would do and when. I was quoted a price for services and that's what it was. He was personable, professional and made it as painless as it could be for me. 5 stars for sure!

Declaring bankruptcy can be a humiliating experience. It's a time for serious reflection on what went wrong financially, and maybe in other ways, to cause an individual or couple to take such a decisive step. But working with Al Scarafone made the process as clear and as easy as possible under such difficult circumstances. Always patient and kind, never judgmental, Mr. Scarafone - he preferred to be called simply Al (a measure of our comfort level with him) - explained everything we needed to know and helped us re-organize our financial life. We made hard choices but did do willingly and responsibly, and we paid off our debt, living up to the prescribed bankruptcy provisions. It took five years, but now - with Al's continued help and support - Eve and I are totally debt-free; we've abandoned the use of credit cards; and we've learned to budget so effectively that we actually have money left over in our account after paying off our bills. Thanks to Al and his considered counsel, we can enjoy these golden years without the cudgel of credit card debt looming overhead. Believe it or not, we actually enjoyed our regular meetings with him. We would recommend his kind, easygoing, and totally professional assistance for anyone else facing the daunting task of preparing for bankruptcy.
