I switched attorney and went with Connie Merwine after extensive calls to different law offices in Monroe County. When I had my consult, Attorney Merwine was very direct and straight to the point. She listened to my dismay, my issues and what I wanted. Due to an emergency situation I retained her for custody modification. From the 2 paralegals that assist her (Briana and Maritza), email and phone call responses and the day of representation, they were all professional, understanding and most importantly realistic. Follow ups, questions and phone calls were answered, they made me feel we could do this and in the end I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I don’t wish anybody to go through a divorce but if you have to go through one you want Connie on your side. Connie was ideal for me. She is very calm, shows empathy, tries to avoid conflicts as much as possible, she has a great reputation and lots of experience. She also allowed me to handle certain tasks myself and control the outcome but also the costs.
