Mr. DelBonifro was very knowledgable in all aspects of my personal injury case. He kept me informed every step of the way. He was fantastic in court. Ultimately, we were awarded a very nice settlement due to his expertise.

Highly recommended, 5-Stars! I’d add more stars if I could. The DeLiberty Law Firm is highly professional, experienced, proficient, effective, and a leader in the industry, with a team who truly cares about their clients. If you’ve received a summons or a complaint, large or small, make the call out to this law firm; either by phone call, email, text, chatbox, etc., they will get back to you. I’m so happy I reached out to them, receiving a great result! What you don’t want to do is worry yourself sick about the summons and try to go at the court case on your own. You have laws and rights on your side and the Deliberty Law Firm is hands down the best, most knowledgeable, and up to date concerning them. I absolutely recommend this law firm, and also as the top choice of the law firms out there; they saved me from stress, anxiety, worry, time, and most of all, have saved me a lot of money. The DeLiberty Law Firm will provide you with peace of mind, simply contact them. Thumbs up! :)

After reading so many great reviews, I reached out to Mr. DeLiberty to set up an appointment. My daughter is navigating a challenging situation and we weren't quite sure how to proceed. Mr. DeLiberty returned my call quickly and was extremely helpful. We discussed the specifics of the situation; he walked me through several courses of action. I never expected to get some much information and so much of his time without payment! I am truly grateful. If legal action is required, I will be reaching back out to Mr. DeLiberty.

Recognizing that my debt was growing for a number of reasons I was left to deal and seek out solutions. I began receiving threats of lawsuits which left me lost and alone not knowing which direction to go. Talking to lawyers who were more concerned about their cut left me more confused than one could imagine. At what I thought to be my wits end, I spoke to Dan who reviewed my case and within minutes was able to give me concrete suggestions and a plan of action. I felt comfortable talking to him and realized that he gave me hope and really cared about my situation. Thanks to Mr Dan my respect for the debit system worked to my benefit. I am very thankful to Mr Dan’s suggestions and ability to help me to relax during this time. His words of wisdom were very beneficial that I saw resolve within time. I’m glad to have given Mr Dan’s firm a chance and I’m truly lucky to have found him willing to help me.

As first consulting with Mr. Kennedy, I decided to ask him to represent me in a WC case Injury that happened at work. To make it short and very honest, first off he is very straightforward, he states the facts and provides (d)me with no nonsense. Once he heard my case he was off and running to do what he does best and that is to help his clients. ( your no number to him). He responded to all my emails.,phones calls the quickest he can and that is very important in my opinion. Most lawyers take forever to return a call, etc, not Mr. KENNEDY. He had an answer for me all the time and I felt that we worked together by returning his phone calls promptly which ended up resulting in success which was well deserved. I can go on and on but to anyone who needs help with any kind of work Injury, etc , Mr. Kennedy is the person to contact. As I noted above he most importantly always responds to your concerns/ questions and thats what people including myself want. This guy definitely deserves a 5 star and again I thank him for all he has done for me from start to finish, I can't appreciate it enough, 9-19-24.

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Broomall, Pennsylvania?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
