Miss Goldberg explained the bureaucratic processes and papers that needed to be shuffled through the court well, and was flexible with payment scheduling; the fees were $400 per hour, rounded up to the nearest 15 minutes, but after $6,000 I'm still no closer to finalizing a divorce and property settlement than I was in 2019, now though I haven't the funds to continue. I imagine Bucks County court is much worse than others, but nonetheless, paying for representation didn't yield any better results than if I would have not been represented, though the filing of the documents required is intentionally complicated, and judges would rather deal with a lawyer, familiar with the absurdity of the court.

I was overall incredibly pleased with the service and the price I paid to have Elissa Goldberg mediate my divorce. The process and timeline went much better than I expected.

When I give someone $1300, I expect to have my questions answered in layman's terms and to feel like I am a priority. I was essentially told to prepare my own document, made to feel stupid for not understanding a legal process I've never been through (the whole reason for hiring a lawyer) and ultimately both the lawyer and her assistant were difficult to get a hold of, provided conflicting information on the amount money due for services, and did not keep consistent records of the status of my case, resulting in frustrating confusion as to where things stood and eating up the retainer. I may as well have kept my money and handled the custody battle on my own.

I have not had experience in the past of needing to utilize a lawyer but am beyond pleased with Elissa Goldberg and her team and the time and effort put forth into assisting my family on our unique request.
