I have read all the other reviews and I wish I could give 10 stars. I was with a larger law firm after a very difficult time in my life, and it was all about the money and the fact that they couldn’t make enough so they couldn’t take my case. It was like that saying when God closes a door somewhere he opens a window. It was then I found this incredible law firm and my attorney was Tiffanie Benfer. She walked me through everything. She called me. It was incredibly shocking because attorneys don’t call people. They have other people call you. The whole we will have our people call your people. I could ask a question in an email or text on the weekend and get a call back ON THE WEEKEND! Tiffanie was with her family but took the time to answer my question because I was concerned and scared. She would actually apologize if it took her a few days because she had been in court or have her staff call me to say she’s in court and then she would call me that night after a long day my Attorney would call me on her family time. She didn’t push me to accept settlements or decisions she knew were wrong just to get my case over with. The staff was incredible. It’s like dealing with people who really care about you.. Thank you.

I had the great luck to have Tiffanie undertake my case. I could not have asked for a more tenacious, hard-working attorney. Tiffanie is a terrific person, had only my best interests in mind, and was always very patient in explaining everything in a clear, concise way. The amount of effort that she will spend on your behalf is amazing. Tiffanie, her fellow attorneys at Hardwick Benfer, and all of their great support staff are not only very professional in everything they do, but they are also very approachable and easy to work with. If you're looking for a fighter for your cause, you won't find anyone better than Tiffanie. Believe me, you won't regret hiring Tiffanie and her firm to represent you.

Did her job exceptionally well, the outcome of the case was everything I wanted. She is exact and to the point. I looked else where. However, many others worried more about their pocket than my case. Tiffanie never gave that impresion. SHE DOES HER JOB, AND DOES IT WELL.Not only is Tiffanie great, but has a great law firm that is responsive and helpful every step. Weeks after my case she still advises me. She is a wonderful person.

Rob is fantastic. He helped me tremendously with a case many years ago, and luckily I haven’t needed his expertise since then, lol. Recently I did have an issue that needed to be resolved immediately, I had no time to waste. I texted Rob that I needed help and he was able to call me at 9am before his busy day in court that consisted of many cases that were not mine. He was able to give me the advice that I needed and from there I was able to move forward and clear everything up for myself. Thanks for the wise words Rob.

Robert Mancini is the best lawyer there is. He worked a small miracle for me. He underpromised and over performed in an amazing way. If you need legal help contact him immediately.

Greg Mitsch is not just an excellent attorney, but also an incredible human. Truly one of the good guys, he understands the art of fighting hard if he has to, but fair. He brings extensive legal knowledge with psychological awareness, ethics and respect; an often rare combination amongst high conflict divorce attorneys. He put me at ease, equipped me with as much information as I needed, handled for me what I didn’t need to, and I had a near perfect outcome. I imagine most anyone would feel safe, protected, and well informed with his representation.

  4. What is your approach to resolving cases like mine?
Learn about their strategy, whether they prefer negotiation, mediation, or litigation.
  5. What potential outcomes can I expect?
While no lawyer can guarantee results, they can provide an assessment of possible scenarios based on their experience.

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Doylestown, Pennsylvania?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
