Mrs. Kingsley is very professional & knowledgeable. I worked with Mrs. Kingsley on two different cases and both of them I received primary custody of my kids which as a man is difficult to accomplish. I'm extremely grateful and happy with her service. The best in the county!

I do not like writing disparaging comments, however, this person is not a good lawyer and should be avoided at all costs because that is what it will end up 'all costs'. If I could put no stars I'd put no stars and let's just say this review was made having had the full experience from this lawyer, ill prepared, inaccurate knowledge of the facts despite having them provided, not a fighter for her clients. Two Avvo reviews despite over 20 years in practice. I am real and know of which I speak from experience and re-iterate all of the above.

Mrs.Kingsley rips you off. She takes money and doesn't tell you what it went for. Dislike a lot, not satisfied with her services.

In my initial divorce proceedings I found this lawyer to be compassionate and genuine upon meeting in her office. In both hearings she attended with me, however, she did not defend accusations made against me and quieted me when I attempted to defend myself. She then intimated that I did not hear what I heard. She did not know the age of one of my children and their school status despite having this information. This gaffe cost me dearly. You should always feel represented when securing a lawyer. She was a good listener and very accessible. In the future I suggest this lawyer be more invested in her client in the court room. Being attentive and accessible is great but if it does not translate into the court proceedings it is of little benefit to the client. I normally do not write reviews but upon parting ways I tried to be as courteous as possible and that was not reciprocated. I, thereby, felt it was necessary for potential future clients to know this as to be able to make as educated a choice as possible when seeking legal counsel as these are life altering events being handled and should not be taken for granted. Thank you.

Not to say I loved the divorce experience, but I did love working with Ms. Kingsley. She handled the divorce quickly and gave excellent advice while listening and implementing what I wanted. She was recommended to me when I was looking for an attorney by someone who knows a lot of divorce attorneys in the area (someone who has seen them all in action) ... and I was lucky to find her that way.

Ellen Kingsley was one of our family's lawyers for a very emotionally tolling guardianship case. We've been working with her for the past 3 years. Ellen quickly responded to all questions/concerns we had. She treated the matter with kindness and sensitivity. She understood the necessity for guardianship and used it as it was intended for: protection of our family member. We are very grateful to her and all the help she provided.
