Tim helped guide me through a difficult situation in Erie, PA and, over the course of a year, he and his staff went above and beyond my expectations. I would enthusiastically recommend him to anyone in need of defense services.

At around midnight on July 1, 2016, I was arrested by PA State Police for DUI on I-90 just outside of Erie, PA. I registered a blood alcohol content of .111% which was over the legal limit of .08%. In addition, I was charged with wreckless driving, careless driving, crossing a white line and failure to keep right. I was driving in a highway construction zone marked by cones on both sides of the road along with white construction lines at the time of my arrest. Upon notice from the state of the charges against me and an order to appear in court, I was told I would need an attorney to represent me in court proceedings. I began investigating legal firms in the Erie, PA area who specialized in alcohol related cases. The name of Purchase & George P.C. and, in particular, Timothy George, a partner in the firm, came up more than once. So, I decided to give them a call. I couldn’t have made a better choice. I was impressed with Purchase George P.C. from the initial phone call. The switchboard operator was totally pleasant and professional and put me in touch with Mr. George. I discussed the situation with him and we arranged for a meeting in his office to discuss my situation, his firm, options and cost. It was very professional and I opted to hire Tim and his firm to represent me. Again, I made the right choice. From the beginning, Tim went over all of my options very clearly and let me make the final decisions although he made recommendations. In my opinion, communication is key. My phone calls were always answered as were my questions. His staff was always very professional and pleasant. Tim was very successful in my preliminary court hearing at getting all of the charges against me discharged except the DUI charge. After meeting with Tim and reviewing the Motor Vehicle Report and video of the arrest, Tim fought for me with the District Attorney’s office to reduce the charges below DUI and was successful in doing so. I am sure his experience, knowledge of the law and reputation had a lot to do with the outcome. I cannot thank him enough. In the end, every case is different based on the facts. In my case, it turned out well because I chose the right legal firm to represent me. There aren't enough words to express how elated we are with the end results Attorney Tim George delivered, he went above and beyond our expectations. Attorney George was always prompt in returning phone calls, straight forward about the facts and extremely empathetic with the horrible situation that our son was facing. Never did we ever believe that false charges would be a reality in our lives, until it happened to our beloved son, who has never been in trouble in his life. A poor decision on my part resulted in a DUI charge. After some research, I scheduled a few consultations, one of which included Mr. George (or 'Tim' as her prefers to be called). His professional demeanor and level of compassion made my choice very easy. He was honest and up front throughout my case. He made himself very accessible and answered any question I had through his email even on weekends and evenings. Even after my case was resolved (ARD), he continued to be there for me while going through the ARD program. I was extremely embarrassed by my poor decision. I cannot express sufficiently the degree to which Tim and his office reduced the pain and stress associated with this process. He's truly dedicated, and has many year of experience to draw on. It shows in his work, awards, and – as I exemplify – in his satisfied clientele.
