VETERANS – I unexpectantly received a letter in the mail from the VA stating I have a debt of $18,000 and had 90 days to pay in full or they would begin deducting $500 from my disability compensation for the next three years – my main source of income. I called the number provided to question this debt and was told I failed to update my dependency status almost nine years ago. I did indeed update this status, but the person I spoke to over the phone continued to tell me the VA system does not reflect this update; therefore, I was unknowingly overpaid for NINE YEARS. This debt was going to cause me to lose my house, my car, etc. I found Joe through a Google search and read through the reviews – just like you are right now.
