I was referred to Tina Weber by a long time friend. Having consulted with and met with several attorneys prior regarding a HIGH conflict custody relocation matter. Tina was the first and ONLY attorney to actually listen to me. Tina took the time to make me feel heard as she was genuinely interested in the details and specifics of my situation. She really did the work to understand the complexities of my case. Not only was Tina responsive to my calls, emails and texts, I never felt she was unavailable or too busy with other cases to really provide the attention I was looking for, which has been my experience in the past. What I loved most about working with Tina is her no nonsense approach. Tina was very matter of fact, to the point and direct which is what lead to her to being able to negotiate an agreement with my ex and avoid trial, which was ultimately the goal however never expected…I thought for sure this was going to be a battle. Tina is methodical, intelligent and clever. She was able to quickly formulate a plan of action and walked me through her professional opinions at to why, she explained everything from every possible angle. Tina managed my expectations appropriately, was honest with me about several possible outcomes and spent a considerable amount of time prepping me for trial in the event that’s where we ended up. Tina spent time role playing with me and helped me to see things differently from other perspectives and for the first time I felt confident and ready. If you are looking for someone who actually listens and cares and is able to get the job done, then you absolutely need to retain Tina’s services. Hands down the best attorney I’ve ever had in my corner, which is truly how I felt.

I retained Tina for a VERY complicated custody case in April 21' and I have been blown away with her intelligence, dedication, legal knowledge and passion to represent what is fair and true. Tina is one step ahead of foreseeable legal roadblocks at all times and I have the utmost confidence in her as my child's voice. I have never had an attorney be so effective and compassionate- (she actually checks in on us frequently just to "see how we are doing"). Prior to Tina, I had retained an attorney at a large firm and they actually dropped out of my case due to the complexity! A well respected therapist recommended Tina and she hit the case head on. Tina is systematically dismantling the opposition's main stance - she is WELL versed in dealing with narcissistic personality disorder as well which is key in certain cases like this. I have learned so much from Tina both personally and legally and it is a blessing to have her as my attorney. She is an absolute pitbull in the courtroom!

I consulted Tina on an accident that led to criminal charges being filed against me. I had never been in any trouble legally before and the situation, stress, and worry was affecting all aspects of my life, especially daily operation of my business. Tina explained every charge and scenario to me in clear, understandable terms. I saw how fiercely she represents and fights for her clients as a seasoned attorney. My consultation with Tina Weber eased my worries beyond measure due to her knowledge of the judicial process and allowed me to recapture peace of mind in order to focus on my business and get back on track. I can't say thank you enough for that result alone. Highly recommended in any situation her expertise may cover. Thank you endlessly, Tina

Tina was absolutely phenomenal to work with. She took time and diligence when working on my case. She drove 1.5 hours round trip just to check out the scene where my incident had occurred, even after I had sent her photos. She went above and beyond in every way and I'm so grateful I had her to save my situation. She is straight forward, kind, and fierce in court! I carry her business cards with me in case a friend or even stranger need help. She really is phenomenal and I wouldn't recommend anyone else to get the job done correctly, ethically, and timely!

Words can not express the gratitude I have for Tina. She truly is a one of a kind attorney. Before I found her, I interviewed 7 attorneys, none of which I felt had my best interest at heart. My case was difficult, lengthy, and highly emotionally charged. TIna calmly listened to my concerns, not just with an attorney's ear, but also with a mother's ear. She didn't just tell me what I wanted to hear, she told me the TRUTH, which was sometimes hard, yet she showed compassion and never left my side. She is a very direct "tell you like it is" kind of person with some surefire quick wit and tons of humor, which made the process a little less stressful. Some things she said I really liked, and some not so much, but she ALWAYS gave advice to my benefit (which at times required me to be VERY patient). She gave me hope and she got me through the most difficult time in my life. Tina didn't just get the job done, she got the job done right! She is very thorough and took the time to answer all of my questions as they arose, making sure I knew what was going on every step of the way. She responds promptly, lots of times even after business hours, and she is a whip in the courtroom! I have never seen such amazing talent! She has a photographic memory and can retain and recall enormous amounts of information including dates and details!!! She went far above and beyond what any attorney would do to make sure that I got my daughter back. Hiring her and listening to her advice was the best thing I ever did!!! I seriously owe everything to her for putting our family back together and saving our lives from an unjust system and world. If you want an attorney who you can count on to make a wrong a right; If you want an attorney who listens and cares about you and your concerns; If you truly want an attorney who is confidant, talented, and honest and someone who always has your back, you can't go wrong with Tina! She is AMAZING and has an enormous heart of GOLD! She will always be on my speed dial! TIna is a rockstar!!

Extremely knowledgeable in collecting/negotiating Reinsurance funds due. Communicated his efforts with the other parties involved as needed and very responsive to phone calls from our side within the same day. Patient in informing/teaching the facts supporting the collection efforts. While negotiating he maintained a fairness standard which is important for parties coming together to settle.

Steve is an incredibly hard working, intelligent, creative attorney. Our company used other firms, big firms, that seemed more interested in billing us than getting results. Steve has helped resolve a number of long running issues in very short order. I recommend him wihtout reservation.

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Exton, Pennsylvania?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
