Marc Snyder is an exceptional, talented and hard working disability attorney. Before hiring Marc I interviewed with several disability attorneys and after meeting with Marc I knew he would be the best attorney for the job. Due to my disability, my family situation became very difficult and Marc was very empathetic and caring about this situation. This helped separate Marc from the other disability attorneys as he seemed to be the only one that cared about my family situation and the other attorneys seemed to be just out there for the money. Prior to hiring Marc I tried to handle my claim on my own with my doctors, which just seemed to linger on forever with my disability insurance provider. During this time I was trying to best manage my severe pain, emotional difficulties, along with my family struggles. I thought I had a good case with my doctors and therapists detailing my inability to work, MRI reports, EMG reports, Ultrasounds, multiple surgeries and other documentation I was just astonished why they kept dragging their feet and then finally denied my claim. I knew after the denial I had to hire a disability attorney. After hiring Marc he got right to work. He ordered a functional capacity exam, vocational report, along with other documentation and put together a very solid case. He has always been very responsive and gets back to me right away. Three weeks after submitting my appeal the insurance company approved my claim! I am hoping one day I could get better, but unfortunately my disability is permanent. I do not want to worry again about the disability insurance company providing me with the benefits they should. I need to try and manage how my disability impacts my life, work with my doctors/therapists, along coping with how this impacts me and my family. I just wanted to pass my thoughts on as concerns my gratitude and respect for Marc Snyder. In October, 2012 I was diagnosed with early stage Parkinson’s Disease, a neuro-degenerative condition for which there is no known cure. Once I was unable to continue as an Executive Assistant due to mobility issues affecting my ability to write and type, I filed for disability insurance, a benefit from my employer that I had elected. Assuming it was a slam dunk due to the diagnosis, I was totally unprepared for the nightmare of paperwork and denial of benefits that became my life once I filed my disability claim. Fortunately for me my niece is an attorney and was able to recommend Marc. Over the next year he was my guiding light of help navigating the LTD process as well as SS disability. He was my guiding light of hope, and eventually my saving grace when we were able to obtain all the benefits due me.
