I had been battling the State (Pa) for over 2 years over what my legal residence was for the last 2 months of 2014. The State was convinced, and ready to take an action, that I owed them state tax on $500k of income. When I knew that their inquiry was going to turn into a case I retained Scaringi. After some forensic work on me and my documentation, Scaringi presented the facts to the State in such a way that the State withdrew and closed the case in my favor. I contacted Scaring Law because I needed some advice about a car I had purchased through a well known Company in Hanover PA, The car was sold to me with a defect that could have caused serious damage to myself and those I Love ( GrandChildren ) not to mention others that were driving their own cars. HURRY AWAY FROM SCARINGI LAW and Erin Komada FIND A DIFFERENT LAW OFFICE with caring lawyers, my sister signed with Erin Komada and after agreeing on terms and knowing her situation they ripped her off wasting all retainer money on spending 30 mins reading emails and being charged for it $100 for reading an e mail that's just a part of how they exhausted her $2000 retainer on couple phone calls and emails and billed her another bill with $5000 after a week from her paying $2000, anyway there was no progress done after all of that for me to give them more money or to keep working with them, specially communication was the worst and have to wait couple days to have an email reply from them or to get a hold of them, I contacted the office and asked for involvement of firm owner/manager but he wasn't any better, I had to fire them, THEY ARE JUST A SHAME TO SUCH A SENSITIVE HONORABLE PROFESSION, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SAVE YOURSELF MONEY, TIME & ANY TROUBLE DEALING WITH THEM. PS after That I heard that they have a reputation from other lawyers for ripping people off and just taking their money as a retainer and then surprise them with a big bill after. What a shame!
