John May represented us during a very difficult time when we needed to pursue guardianship for our mother. John H. May represented me after I was injured by a careless delivery person at a local drug store that was part of a national chain. I tore the labrum in my hip and needed surgery. Mr. May was aggressive in gathering evidence, was unafraid to file a lawsuit and stand up to the defendant’s insurance company and, as a result, obtained a settlement which my husband and I believe fully and fairly compensated me for my injuries. He and his team were accessible, responsive and promptly returned our calls. It was obvious that he genuinely cared for us and understood what I was going through. We are grateful that we had Mr. May and his firm in our corner.

We had a really great experience with MM&Z when my parents passed away. They cost effectively handled our parents’ complicated estate administration with ease. I felt very comfortable with them at all points of the process. They were responsive, efficient and timely in every aspect. We dealt with John May Jr. for most of our appointments and transactions.

I am very appreciative of the excellent work John H. May and his law firm did for my husband and me after I was injured when I fell on black ice at a convenience store. I suffered serious injuries that required surgery. In the days following my fall I was being ignored by representatives of the company, and Mr. May quickly filed a lawsuit to force the store to produce the surveillance video (that showed that my fall was unavoidable), as well its internal snow removal policies & procedures. In reviewing this evidence, he discovered that the snow removal contractor violated the company’s internal safety rules by piling snow in a high traffic location where it could melt and refreeze as black ice. We eventually went to mediation and, using this evidence, Mr. May obtained a substantial settlement for us. The mediator told us that if we hadn’t had the video evidence (which is often deleted by companies after 20 to 30 days) and an attorney who was willing to take our case to trial, our claim would have only been worth a fraction of what we ultimately received.

Im only rating 5 stars so this is seen. May, Metzger and Zimmerman are scam artists. I needed legal help claiming the belongings of my father who just passed away with no will. I waited two weeks to see an attorney even knowing the case was time sensitive. I called personally at 10am to confirm my 11am appointment, I was told "We'll see you at eleven". I arrived at 11 and was told I would have to reschedule because they had heard someone else had helped me and they would have to call me. I lost my money and my chance to recover what belonged to my lost father so John Metzger could take a longer lunch break and all the receptionist had to say was, "yea....sorry....". Dont waste your time or money here.

We were referred to Bruce Roth by our personal attorney. I will say that we were more than satisfied with the service that we were provided.
