Lucy helped our family navigate Gaurdianship for a son, and a niece.
Both adults, with special needs.
Start to finish, Lucy provided neccessary information, prompt responses to inquiries and an overall sense of ease.
Complete satisfaction.

My husband and I used Lucy Dowd to do our Wills and Power Of Attorneys. She was amazing! She explained the importance and reason for each part of the documents and worked with our schedules. She made a "I don't want to do this" task, easy! Not only is she amazing at her job, she is also a warm and caring person. We felt totally at ease, respected, and cared for. I am getting my adult children to work with her asap. We highly recommend her to anyone who needs will, trust, poa, or guardianship work. Lucy is a lawyer with heart!

The thought of making a will was, for me, about as exciting a prospect as having a colonoscopy. I knew it needed to be done, but had put it off time and time again.
I met Lucy for the first time at the office kitchen sink when we were both washing coffee cups. I asked her what she did. ‘I’m a lawyer’, she said. Unable to help myself, my guilty secret tumbled out before I could stop it. ‘I really need to make a will.’ ‘I’d be glad to help you with that’ she said with a smile, and handed me her business card.
A few days later my wife and I met with her. And now we have everything done. Lucy, very professionally - and with a considerable amount of patience - guided us through the intricacies of PA law. The whole process was quite painless, and Lucy’s consultations were a pleasure.
It sure feels good to have our affairs in order. Our deaths, sooner or later (preferably later) will not give our family the added burden of us passing away intestate. And before then, should we find ourselves incapacitated and unable to make decisions, our children have the necessary information and legal authority to act well on our behalf with power of attorney. That’s a whole lot better for them, and us, than the legal mess of being unprepared.
Yes, I absolutely recommend Lucy Dowd as an attorney. You will love her. And her professional fees are very, very reasonable. She is thorough, efficient, prompt, and in every way most helpful.
Now, if you will excuse me, I need to call my doctor’s office about that unmentionable procedure. Although it’s such a nice day - I think maybe I’ll wait until tomorrow. :-)
