Went in to support a family member as they sought counsel on the SSI-Disability appeals process. The gentleman we worked with was a great relief to our inexperience from the moment he started speaking. He triaged the situation and helped us make some hard decisions and in place we constructed a game plan with reasonable goals. The lawyer had been through the process many times and had greater personal empathic responses because he has simply been there. There was comfort in hearing the reality of the situation and not overextending my expectations. I feel validated, comfortable, trusted, and relieved that someone has my back. I would suggest this practice for any legal issues you may have based on the level of humility, transparency, and primal calling of virtuousness.
