Extremely unprofessional & rude. Uneducated an addiction. If you want to pay for a dirty job clean up she's your GAL 😂 total disgrace to Lackawanna county.. and the countless children's & parents lives she's affected! this is the type of person to help "protect the kids"...??? So so sad it's STILL going!

I was referred to Brenda because my ex was using an attorney who is friends with her. Brenda was not fair. Ignored issues of abuse and focused more on money. I was spoken to like a dog and got no where in my case other than proving my point — after being berated and spending thousands. Protect kids? Absolutely not. This woman is now also being outed For her schemes allegedly. I would absolutely contest if this woman is your GAL

If there was a way to give more stars to this law firm I would. I have been a client of Brenda Kobals for 3+ years now and she has well exceeded my every expectation, and my expectations were extremely high given the seriousness of my situation. She is professional, knowledgeable, and consistently responsive to my every question or request. Lastly, her reputation is beyond reproach. Everytime (not sometimes, not most times, I truly mean everytime) I mention who my attorney is to anyone involved in the family court system, the immediate response is, "She is the best in the area, you made the right choice". I can now include myself in that group that carries that opinion. If you are reading this review while researching attorneys, look no further. If you pass on this law firm in likely the most critical time of your personal life you are making a grave mistake, and if you choose to retain this law firm than you have made the best decision you possible could have made given your circumstance. I can ensure you I made the latter and it was the best decision I made.

Brenda is a terribly ineffective GAL. Brenda chooses to ignore facts laid in front of her. Brenda forces people to hair follicle tests without having the other party do the same. Brenda should be disbarred. She’s a one sided circus act.

Brenda was a Godsend. She knows the law, explained the law, came prepared, expected you to come prepared and returned her calls. A very wise investment on my part.

Kobal charges for things she said she did when there was proof she did not. Charges for attorney fees she claimed she did when it was her assistant who did them. Yes, she charges whether she or her assistant did something. Lied when she claimed I was late with payment when, in fact, I had bank statements as proof. I ended up firing her for poor service. Watch out, she's pals with many lawyers and gives them information to them. (Right Dawn R? Nice you two are great pals).
