Today is such an amazing day and I owe it all to my amazing lawyer and her entire team, Renee Hykel Cuddy. After many let’s down from other lawyers handling my case since 2001. My cousin referred me to Renee’s law firm in 2017, and she went right to work. Within a few months, I was able to get temporary status, fast forward applying for permanent residence. It wasn’t it easy, because the immigration laws were changing and so it was going back to the drawing board so to speak. When I moved to NYC I started looking for an immigration attorney. I am a very detail-oriented person and I am particular about attorneys I choose to work with. I had tons of consultations with immigration attorneys and each time I was suspicious about their intents and professional skills. A lot of them were quite aloof, did NOT answer my questions directly and seemed unprofessional, so I continued looking for the right attorney, at least honest and trust-worthy.
