Gave him a 5k retainer I never used. Had a small claims case that I really didn't even need a lawyer for but figured I'd never use the 5k retainer and im not that petty to ask for it back I figured I'd ask him to represent me at the hearing. 2 hearing, 2 hours each. Bam, 12k bill. Thought it had to be a mistake. The small claim was way less then that. He actually tried to justify it.. refuses to refund me. Only reason he got paid is office manager paid by mistake. Actually sent me 3 months worth of billing. Total disgrace, sneaky. The word weasel fits him well..
