I'm on SSD and didn't qualify because they used my children income which I adopted and didn't qualify which I believe the children income should not have been used.

If I have to give CLS stars; I will give it no stars! I came in April 2019; for assistance due to the fact that I have been displaced from my 2bd apartment due to the sidewall collapsed. Management placed my Daughter(4 1/2 years old) and I in a Senior Citizen Handicap apartment that looked like the projects minus the piss smell! I went to CLS due to the fact Bart Levy who was my lawyer quit(don't let him represent you because you will be disappointed). The worker I worked with name was David Wingate, who demeaned was smudged due to his attitude; I honestly don't think he has experience when it comes to working with minorities, who's low income; or in public housing(Tax Credit or Section 8). I had a Lot of evidence including my lease from my original apartment. I discribed the discrimination; the harassment; blockbustering that Spring Garden II Management was doing towards me, which it seemed as though he found it numerous. I told him that I advocated by filing numerous complaints with HUD; Fair Housing; Jannie Blackwell office; Darryl Clark office; Michael Kenyatta office, which they referred me to Brian Sims office. All my belongings is still in the original unit. The door has a L&I sign on it saying Unsafe Structure, was an Orange Sign. You can't go in a building with a Orange, Red, or White sign on the door. He didn't get that because he's believing an email lies. He also stated that I could go to small claims court for the value of my belongings. My belongings is worth more than $30,000. I will never go to CLS because I believe they're in cohorts with PHA. Now, I have a lawyer that I had to pay out of pocket for an unlawful eviction. David Wingate is incompetent, especially if he didn't realize that children shouldn't be in a handicap/senior citizen apartment because it's illegal because they can set a fire due to the fact that the appliances are 3 feet. I told him that my Daughter and I was eating breakfast; lunch; and dinner on the floor. We also had gotten sick due to mold in the property that we were placed in, which he wasn't sympathetic about that. I have paperwork of all the times that I took my Daughter to the ER(4 times). I went to the ER Will's Eye 4 times, I have 3 different issues til this day going with my eyes. David Wingate needs to take a Diversity Training due to the fact of his lack of empathy towards minorities, who's going through issues, which is no fault of their own. I was blunt with him when I said that I was 2 steps ahead of him due to the fact that I have a lot of evidence; emails; pictures; infractions; etc. I know that I'm not the only one that he worked with and didn't show the professionalism that he should of shown. David tries to debate you of what you been through, which it's insulting! CLS needs to do better in hiring better Social Workers; Paralegals; etc. I will never come back to CLS

Don't go because services aren't cracked up to be ok trust me on that
