I called them in reference reinstating a life insurance policy, and the lady says, “First of all, we don’t reinstate life insurance policies.” And hung up. Their website has a specific page dedicated to lapsed life insurance policies. Here is a cut and paste from the website: “But if you don’t believe you were at fault, contact us to find out your options. We can go through your options with you, including explaining the denial letter and its various terms; research what your rights and options are under the terms of the policy, state law, and whether or not the insurance company complied with relevant laws; prepare a legal brief to put the insurance company on notice that you’re appealing the denial; and, perhaps most importantly, have experience with what kinds of tactics the company might use to try and continue denying your claim. In addition, we have the resources to investigate how the insurance company communicated with the policyholder and if there are missteps on their part.”

Joe Mattia was very kind and patient during this difficult phase in our life. He was there every step of the way with very honest guidance. He was very prompt in his responses and a true "go-getter." His due diligence with regard to my case was exceptional. His professional and very kind approach meant everything. 5 stars I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT CHAD BOONSWANG, JOSEPH MATTIA ~ OUR LEAD ATTORNEY, CAROLINA; AND THE ENTIRE STAFF OF THE BOONSWANG LAW FIRM. MY CASE WAS THE DEATH BENEFIT FOR A SEVEN DIGIT LIFE INSURANCE CLAIM THAT WAS INITIALLY DENIED BY METLIFE. THE INITIAL LAW FIRM I WAS REFERRED TO BY MY TRUST ATTORNEY DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WITH THE CASE EXCEPT REQUESTING MORE AND MORE DOCUMENTATION BEFORE THAT FIRM WOULD COMMIT TO TAKING THE CASE. THIS WENT ON FOR OVER TWO MONTHS UNTIL I DECIDED TO TERMINATE THIS RELATIONSHIP AND FIND A LAW FIRM THAT WOULD HANDLE THE CASE. WELL, I WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO REACH WHAT I CALL "SUPER LAWYERS" ~ MR. CHAD BOONSWANG AND MR. JOSEPH MATTIA OF THE BOONSWANG LAW FIRM. I SPOKE WITH CHAD ON MY VERY FIRST CALL AND AFTER HEARING THE MERITS OF THE CASE, HE SAID THIS IS A GO!!! THROUGHOUT THE DURATION OF THE CASE, THE WEEKLY COMMINCATION OF PROGRESS REPORTS COULDN'T HAVE BEEN HANDLED ANY MORE EFFICIENT. I AM ELATED TO SAY THAT WE EMERGED VICTORIOUS ABOUT TWO WEEKS AGO IN SETTLEMENT OF FULL FACE VALUE FOR THE ENTIRE DEATH BENEFIT, AND THE CHECK IS ALREADY IN HAND. THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT I WOULD NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE SHOULD THE NEED ARISE, AND IT IS MY EVERY HOPE THAT ANYONE READING THIS WILL TAKE THE FIRST STEP IN CONTACTING CHAD OR JOE FOR THEIR CASE. Chad Boonswang, Michael Wentz, and all their supporting staff were very Professional, Top Notch, and expedient in resolving our Insurance Claim. They fought hard, won our case, and put the money our father wanted us to have, in our pocket. They are extremely seasoned and take no prisoners. I am so happy we hired them to represent our family. After the passing of my wife, I filed the claim with her insurance company to receive the death benefits from two life insurance policies she had with her employer for myself and my children. We received a letter from the insurance company that one of my wife's policies was not going to be paid.
