Nice people and they do a great job

I'm currently going through a really nasty custody battle out in NJ with my ex-husband. I needed an attorney that understood not only PA law but NJ law as well. There were a few attorneys that came up with great ratings, but they didn't seem to be overly concerned with how my current matter was being handled. See I have an NJ attorney already but he only practiced in NJ and didn't have a license to practice in PA. So he wasn't familiar with PA laws and what options I had in Philadelphia. My ex and I both lived in Philadelphia for the past year and had a custody order based out of NJ that my ex filed a counter motion against. I needed someone to help me understand my rights with both PA and NJ. When I first called Mr. Kirby and explained my situation he stated that because I had a current attorney in NJ that he couldn't really discuss the case not because he wasn't allowed to but because of integrity and respect for his fellow attorney. This is the first I heard any attorney say to me. The rest were ready to have me fire my current attorney and take over the matter in which I wasn't comfortable with. That initial phone call made my decision for me because most attorneys are looking to get more money from you while he was giving me his honest feedback and your integrity is everything. I immediately scheduled an in person consultation with him. After meeting with Mr. Kirby, he completely put me at ease and regained my confidence back with my current case. My NJ attorney is great but because he didn't understand PA law it was difficult to understand my rights and what procedures needed to be followed. When Mr. Kirby got in touch with my NJ attorney they got along great and exchanged information regarding my case to prepare him for when he can have the matter moved over to PA. Since my ex's current attorney keeps requesting more motions and wasn't willing to come to a settlement on the matter this case has dragged on in NJ since September and won't be finalized (hopefully) till December. Mr. Kirby has never declined one of my calls and has been extremely mindful of my time and the money I am spending because technically I am currently paying for 2 attorneys on retainer. My case is still currently in NJ, but I have 100% full confidence once we're able to move this matter over to PA that Mr. Kirby will do everything he has currently been doing for me and then much much more. If you're looking for an honest (rare with lawyers), trustworthy, hard working, real, and tells you how it is.....LOOK NO FURTHER THIS IS THE MAN FOR YOU!!!!! I've had a difficult time with my case and to be able to talk to someone that you can vent your frustrations to especially during a time where you are fighting for your kids, is one of the best feelings in the world. William Kirby not only talked to me as an attorney but also as a friend. He seriously has made this matter less stressful for me and I am forever grateful to him for that. I absolutely recommend him to anyone that is currently battling a family law matter.
