Matthew Hagarty was a true professional from start to finish. He explained to me the process in great length and made me feel extremely comfortable. Matt let me know that I could contact me day or night with any questions I had with my case. In the end the outcome was better than I expected . This would not have happened if not for Matt's diligent and persistent efforts on my behalf. I am so grateful to have Matt on my side during the whole process. I would recommend Matt to anyone that needed a criminal defense attorney.

Matt by far is one of the best lawyers I know. He helped me with my DUI and then I got into some trouble again (and the last time) I hired him for my 2nd case! He is the most understanding and caring lawyer you could have! He explained everything to me every step of the way. Went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and sane the whole time! I was a nervous wreck and got physically sick and Matt talked me through every step. He’s stuck with me for life even though my case is over and he got me the best outcome I could of gotten and fought hard for me!

Was arrested for violation of unauthorized firearms, resisting arrest, among other charges. I hired Matt, and he reviewed the case with me several times, told me the pros and cons of the case. Was always available to answer every and any question I hit him with. Even the price for his services were pretty fair. Long story short, he got the weapons charges dropped with no fine, and no jail time. I couldn’t be happier. Matt was highly recommended as a diligent attorney specializing in probable cause. I contacted Matt Hagarty on a friend's recommendation, to help with my 18yo son's arrest on drug and paraphernalia possession charges in Philadelphia. Matt answered my call late in the business day and was consistently responsive and communicative throughout the process. He was so helpful in not only finding out information about where my son was and what the process would be, but steering us through what to expect in regard to charges and consequences. He personally visited my son prior to his arraignment and kept in touch with us over the course of the week it took get through the initial phase and then subsequent court appearance. Matt communicated with me very well and always made sure I knew what was going on from the beginning to the end of the process. Being my first offense I was very in the dark about what would happen. When I first met him I was about to see the Judge for the first time and he got me up to speed on what to expect. Since I'm in college and my mom was a little while away it was very comforting to know what was going on. Once the process got started he was very understanding and helpful with getting me back on track and expunging my offense from my record. My case was self defense ...After I told Matt my situation and why I should be free of all charges he told me straight up we got this BUT you gonna have to trust me lol knowing how unpredictable these thing can be I was very concerned for my family if anything should went wrong then my family will be affected greatly...but Mr Matt was true to is word great man great lawyer ...Thanks Matt now I have my family again trying to put this nightmare behind me ...If I know anyone need a lawyer you will be first on my list thanks again job well done ...Ethan

Matthew Hagarty is a phenomenal lawyer whom I highly reccomend. I hired Matt for a situation in which I needed legal counsel. First, communication with me: He is very clear, striving to make sure I understand. He carefully explains things to me, again making sure I am not left out. Matt's email responses are always prompt. Even as a very busy man, Matt typically does answer the phone. Unlike many lawyers, if I leave him a voicemail, Matt will personally call me back - not his secretary. The brevity of time between my voicemail and his return call is extremely satisfying, almost astonishing. I highly appreciate Matt calling me back, not the secretary. I always have new questions for Matt to answer, not the secretary! Sure I understand that as a lawyer, Matt's a very busy man. Yes, oftentimes the secretary returning the call is an aides to him. Nevertheless I am completely satisfied with the fact that it is almost always Matt who returns my call. Matt not only communicates well with me, but he explains things in ways that I understand - he drops the "lawyer lingo." (not speaking in a way only another lawyer would understand). Matt will break it down into simple steps, he is clear and precise. Often he will ask a second time, "do you understand completely?" He double checks that I fully understand what he just explained to me. This shows his character. Matt isn't working just for the check, he cares for his client! He strives to keep me in the loop with everything that I need to know. This way I am closer to a calm spirit, even in the midst of a difficult situation - Matt truly cares! Second topic, experience. Matt is very professional as well as experienced! His experience has become relevant as he works with me! Matt uses knowledge from prior experience to help make effective decisions. When simply listening to Matt's counsel, his extensive amount of knowledge/experience becomes clear. Matt has been a lawyer for several years and knows what to expect in most (if not all) situations. This benefits me, allowing me to be ready and well prepared for what most likely will occur. Matt is also very kind and personable. He will shake your hand, greet you graciously, and speak to you on a personal level. He truly cares for you and wants you to succeed - it is CLEAR he is on your side! Furthermore, Matt has contacts in the legal world and will get you expert help in the event of trial, investigation, etcetera. Matt will contact a reputable expert examiner on your behalf, which you may hire to assist you further. Again let me touch on Matt's professionalism. He speaks to his clients (you, me) calmly and kindly, yet not wavering from the reality of the situation - he is honest. Matt speaks to the judge in a professional, respectful manner. He speaks to the district attorneys with the same level of respect. Others in the courtroom look up to Matt. I must say this, Matthew Hagarty is an extremely honorable man. Matthew is a terrific lawyer who is reliable and very fast at taking care of business.He cares alot about the concerns od his clients and knows exactly what he is doing...i cant believe how fast he jumped into my case and got things done exactly the way he said he would..There is no beating around the bush with Matthew.He takes care of business and fights for you aggressively.
