Our son was in a criminal situation. He was facing a very high bail and major criminal charges and was falsely accused. We trusted him from the first consultation and we strongly believed that he would get us justice. It was thru his professionalism and swagger that he was able to minuaver thru the red tape and Baracaci of the unfairness of the commonwealth. He was able to see thru all the lies and render a not guilty verdict of all charges. I first met shaka back in 2008, and believe me i had my fare share of run ins with the law he’s the first and only lawyer I ever had to hire. He keep it real at all times, and definitely a beast in the court room.

Mr. Shaka Johnson has been a complete breath of fresh air for my legal matter. From him to his staff, they are all very very cool people. As my 1st time getting in trouble with the law, I was completely uneasy & unsure of the process but after my 1st meeting with Shaka, I was ready for the fight. Our very 1st court date was our very last! Trust me when I say this guy has found his craft & MASTERED it!!! He is awesome. Very passionate about his work & takes each case personal as if u are his dear friend or family member. In court he is aggressive & he means business. I was referred to Shaka by a good friend. One word "BEAST". This man don't play games when it comes to the court room. He's sharp as a knife, knows his stuff & his mouth piece is vicious!!! All around good dude. When I sat down with him, I couldn't believe a lawyer could be that cool. I was tripping thinking I was getting roofed & Shaka's exact words to me was "chill, I do this". He gave it to me straight, didn't try to kill my pockets & even made arrangements for me to pay based on my schedule. We went to court 2 times & Shaka knocked that case right out the park. Needless to say, while still in the preliminary, my Case was DISMISSED!

Shaka Johnson is a really great lawyer. I was charged with DUI after my car broke down on the interstate in Philadelphia. Officers are suppose to protect the people, but instead of asking whether I was was okay, this officer treated me like a criminal because a portion of my car was still in the road. (Yes, I know this is dangerous, but the officer could have asked to help, instead of assuming the worst in me). Even after I told this officer that my car was giving me trouble, and he could see that I was visibly upset because I did not have anyone to help me, as I live in Virginia and was only here to pay my respects to a friend, he still treated me like a criminal. Much to my surprise, I was being arrested for DUI with refusal, and I had not had a single drink! After my husband learned of my arrest, he googled attorney's in the area and called around. Because it was late, most people did not respond, but Shaka responded to his web inquiry and provided his cell phone number for my husband to call him...this was at 10:30 PM!!! He informed my husband that I had nothing to worry about and was present at my arraignment at 4 AM. I was released ROR and went home to my family. I spoke to Shaka several times and each time he assured me that I had nothing to worry about and he was handling the situation. He asked me to trust him and to not stress, so I did! When my husband and I arrived in Philadelphia for my trial, Shaka was not present so I began to worry, but the lady at his office assured me that he was coming, but had other hearings scheduled that day. We waited until about 10:45 AM, but the wait was worth it. Shaka came in and went straight to work. He did a motion to suppress the arrest in my case and he WON! Because the officer lied, the judge did not believe anything he was saying. There was so many people whispering behind me and commenting on what was going on, that I knew I made the right choice! I told Shaka he would by my family's lawyer, and we laughed because having no family in the area is what got me in this situation in the first place, but he understood what I meant. I wish I could give him more stars because this review does not even encompass the stress relief that he has given my family. No, he was not always available to answer the same questions each time I would call him (I think I called maybe 100 times to ask him what would happen at trial :) , but he was available when I needed him the most--when I was locked in a jail cell with no hope because I did not know if my husband found an attorney AND when he showed the entire courtroom that the officer lied on me and wrongfully arrested me). Moral of the story: I had one of the best attorneys in the world and I would refer him to ANYONE!!!!!

Shaka was actually referred by a friend. I hired him to represent my brother for a gun charge (which we're currently still fighting). And he is actually currently on parole for prior gun charges. Before meeting with Shaka, I already heard so many great things about him, but let me tell you once I sat down with him and I seen his whole outlook on what he does and his demeanor, I felt completely confident about hiring him. He talks in a manner you'll understand and he tells you the just of things honestly, wether they be good or bad. He makes you feel comfortable to talk about anything. He's very professional but also rational when it comes to his cases. When we just attended the preliminary hearing, he fought like we were already in trial ! Everyone was stunned by his performance ! Even the families of other people waiting to be called were gasping in the background. When we left the court room he had multiple people coming up to him asking for business cards. This man is the truth ! I was absolutely astonished at his work ! He is very aggressive in the court room when getting his point and all the facts across. He's very passionate about what he does and it shows ! He honestly made the prosecutor and judge silent after speaking. It's also a BIG PLUS that he was an ex police officer, S.W.A.T. team member, Narcotics Officer, & a member of the district attorney's office. He has major things under his belt ! So he knows how people in those positions work so he has a relatable understanding while handling his cases. I'm so Glad I hired him & am thankful for his work and expertise even if he doesn't beat the case at trial. I'll know he tried his complete best and that's what counts. HIRE SHAKA IF YOU WANT RESULTS !

Shaka Johnson tried to get me home on my gagnon but my judge wasent having that, went to court Shaka fought to get me back on the street the judge gave me a 60 day court date.. That next date the Judge still didn't want to release me,so Shaka got me out on house arrest! He defiantly tried everything in his power to get me out,he saved me from doing a lot of prison time he is still fighting for me as I'm writing this!! He's defiantly a beast when it comes to his clients and he never leaves his clients hanging and pushing your court date back he gets the job done fast & professionally.. #team$haka

Shaka Johnson is the truth if u need a real deal lawyer. He don't b n ur pocket . But one thing two for certain he care about each and every one of his clients. He is a excellent LAWYER.
