The Murphy Law Group has helped me and my family through a very difficult time. From the start, I felt like they treated my problems as their own. The most valuable asset for a law firm, in my personal opinion, is that everything was in my own, personal best interest. Every action taken was explained and thoroughly discussed. More importantly, I never felt pushed in a certain direction. All options were laid on the table, pros and cons were talked about in detail, always with exceptional knowledge of the matter. Even though I hope never to need legal assistance again, I know where to turn to and can only recommend their services. If you are an African American seeking discrimination legal representation , I would suggest finding a law firm that can put themselves in your shoes. The lawyer who represented me was very nice, but I just felt he could not relate or believe that a company could discriminate based on race without it being obvious. He relied heavily on their word against mine and just didn’t fight hard enough and was no where near aggressive enough in my opinion. Like I said, he was very nice and also very nice to the people I was accusing of discriminating against me. Companies in this day will not openly discriminate but can show patterns of it. This was not taken seriously by the law firm in my opinion. So if you feel like you have been discriminated in the workplace based on race, unless it’s very obvious and blatant with hard proof, they will not support you in the manner needed. I suggest finding a lawyer who can relate better to African Americans.

I had been terminated by my employer and was quite confused on what course of action, if any, was appropriate.
