I initially called Gail to do a review of an LLC Operating Agreement for the purchase of Real Estate that had been drafted by my partner’s lawyers. I wanted to know if my interests were protected in the agreement and in the actual real estate deals we are doing together because we are putting a lot of money on the line. I really expected to hear that everything was fine. Gail took the time to walk me through the whole picture from start to finish. It was an eye-opening conversation because I realized that I was completely unaware of what I should be really looking at to protect my interests. I now know that this is a lot more complicated than I first thought, and now my partner and I are looking to structure the entire partnership differently for tax and liability advantages. My fiancé and I needed legal advice on how to proceed after purchasing a home. We had an unusual circumstance regarding home inspection and repair. It seemed as though we did not have any options. I reached out to Gail because my wife and I are in the midst of selling our home and the title company insisted we pay judgments levied against only one of us even though we share the property together. Gail assured me the property was protected as an entirety property and the judgments wouldn't affect the title of the home. As she predicted, the title was cleared!
