My experience with Harris J. Chernow came directly from a referral. Harris did not assist me as my attorney but provided a detailed and informative consultation in the area of defamation law. We spoke by the phone initially and Harris instructed me to provide a timeline of events. Afterward, Harris provided me with an 800+ word response detailing my options with specifics related to my particular case. I clarified some areas that may have been misunderstood as a response. Harris again went above and beyond during this consultation providing another 700+ word response that further clarified my options. While I have not (yet) hired Harris as my attorney I am impressed with Harris's legal knowledge and ability to dissect my specific case and provide actionable advice whether I retain Harris or not. If Harris is anything like how he represented himself during the consultation I believe he must be an excellent and effective attorney. I will always be thankful to Harris for providing an honest assessment of my situation and believe him to be an excellent attorney from his reputation and my personal experience speaking with him.
