Kevin helped us with our assessment after we bought our house and the City, County, and Municipality (North Allegheny SD) wanted to increase our taxes. He was very knowledgeable about the law and the real estate market, and it is very clear he has done this hundreds of time. The process in general does take a very long time (due to the appeal process) which can be frustrating, but Kevin explains it well and keeps you up to date with timelines and strategies. Would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

Having multiple properties, I have appealed assessment increases twice in the past, and both times I lost. Several years ago, after purchasing a new house, Mr. Brown contacted us about our "full purchase price assessment." He explained things so thoroughly that it only made sense to move forward with an appeal; to which he won for us. With the recent exposed corruption of unfair assessment increases, we were contacted by Mr. Brown's firm about reviewing our assessment. After a thorough, fully explained review, he convinced us that we should not move forward with an appeal. That was a surprise. Especially since the prior firms asked for payment first and moved forward without asking or offering any or little info. Robert Kevin Brown holds the highest respect from me of any attorney I have ever had to work with; whether personal or business. He is an expert in his field and I wouldn't think of using any other firm for my real estate needs.

I highly recommend Kevin for assessment appeals. I refer lots of property owners to Kevin. They have all been thoroughly satisfied. He does lots of behind the scenes work. He researches the property involved, and is always well prepared. This area is a complex area of practice, and, after researching the property, Kevin analyzes all possible outcomes of an appeal. I assisted Kevin on some assessment appeal hearings and that made me realize how complex this are of law has become since I handled these type of cases many years ago.
