I wholeheartedly recommend Todd and Rebecca to EVERYONE! I don’t write reviews often, only when I have had an incredible experience. They went above and beyond for me and I feel so lucky to have crossed paths with them. When I first reached out to them for legal help, I was feeling scared, discouraged and helpless. I had a dangerous situation on my hands and needed immediate help. They offered to meet with me that same afternoon, and took care of EVERYTHING within 24 hours of me initially calling them. Rebecca and Todd promptly answered my questions and put my mind at ease, even after business hours! They are so knowledgeable, kind and helpful. I am forever appreciative of everything they’ve done to help me. I will be a lifetime client and refer my friends and family! Todd Spivak is by far the best attorney that I have ever encountered. He goes above and beyond and you can tell that he actually cares about you as an individual. When families are involved, emotions run high, Todd has a way about him that keeps everyone calm and moving toward a resolution. This attorney performed remarkably to say the least. I was issued a PFA following a domestic catastrophe. After 3decades plus of marriage, I find myself in court in an adversary scenario with my spouse. I was extremely discouraged, depressed, anxiety filled etc. Enter attorney Canterbury, file folder in hand. Her approach was determined but gentle. Humble. Obviously of serious intellect, but never advertising it. She spoke the common mans English ( with a shoeshine ) she IMMEDIATELY placed me at ease. She explained in great detail the course of action she had charted. My son was at my side and she made him all inclusive in the conversation. Ms. Canterbury displayed no ego, or the need to talk through or over us. She has an excellent ear, listening, absorbing and never interrupting. Patient. She assured me when all was said and done , we would be in a better place. When it was time, she made her way down the corridor to meet with opposing council to attempt to negotiate and settle the case. After a few tripsto the opposition and back, we had an agreement with conditions. I won't go into detail except to say the PFA was dropped and the additional conditions we could live with. beyond our expectations. This attorney delivered big time. I recommend her beyond recommendations. This case was no easy endeavor. She persevered with honesty, dignity, and maybe most of all, an unequaled bed side manner. I was so overwhelmed and impressed with her that I composed a little ditty before exiting the courthouse. Here it is. Council Canterbury came to town,documents in hand,resolution bound. She arrived with talent and pure social grace, her professional approach set the pace. The task at hand was a bit of a chore, she accomplished it and a whole lot more Experienced and wise beyond her years ,she calmed my spirit and alleviated my fears. I got a PFA against me from my wife. I am new to Usa and my hearing was 31st may. I tired many attorney and couldn't schedule an appointment with anyone since it was very close to my hearing date. Attorney Spivak scheduled an appointment on memorial day since my case was close to hearing. Rebecca and Spivak promised me that we will fight for this case to get dropped. I highly recommend Spivak Law Firm. I called Tuesday morning with a PFA case pending in six days. Attorneys Todd and Rebecca picked up my call on the first ring, and reworked their schedule to meet with me right away. We were able to obtain a stronger PFA of my own against the plaintiff. I could not have done this without their expertise. I felt welcome and important at all times. They care about you and are here to help you. The flat fee was very reasonable and my emails were always answered right away. My PFA case against me was successfully dropped, my record was expunged and I couldn’t be happier.

I hired Rebecca Canterbury and Todd Spivak to expunge my criminal record and it turned out perfect. Everything expungable, which was most of it, was erased from record. The group of Spivak law firm help with my case of full custody for my daughter along with a last name change for as well. They where very precise and did great work with my case and was always there to answer my questions. We did research to locate a lawyer we could trust to get the job done and they did so. Very happy with the expeeeince and our outcome.

I petitioned for 50/50 shared physical custody. Rebecca fought for me against a non-compromising ex-spouse. I followed her advice and listened to her every step of the way. Last Wednesday (11/29)after a long battle in family court we won shared physical custody of my son. We couldn't get my ex-spouse to negotiate to anything. Rebecca was able to plead my request to the judge and get the judge to see the ex-spouse was just being unreasonable. Thanks to Rebecca's tenacity I have the time my son and I deserve with one another.

I normally do not write reviews but in Todd’s case I just had to make the exception. A while ago, a family member needed strong legal counsel for a situation that could have been detrimental to their life and livelihood both then and long term. After hours of research for an attorney who is an advocate for the falsely accused, reading all published articles (there are quite a few and Todd was also nominated for The Pulitzer Prize in 2006 and 2008!), reviewing educational background along with activity within the legal community, Todd Spivak was a perfect fit. Contacting him resulted in an immediate phone exchange and setup of a determination appointment. Over the course of this legal battle Todd was available at any time to answer questions. During meetings with the other participants’ council and the court hearing Todd was thoroughly prepared, professional and always gave excellent advice. All charges were dismissed. After this experience, I would recommend Todd to anyone in need of an attorney. If the situation you find yourself in is not within his genera, his recommendation of council can be trusted
