Todd Spivak & Rebecca represented me with a PFA with numerous false allegations. Todd was able to discredit the plaintiff during trail. His demeanor and attention to detail were amazing. After a long day in court Todd was able to have my PFA dismissed with prejudice. I cannot say enough about them both. I am extremely pleased how they represented me. They were compassionate and always available if we had any questions. I would absolutely recommend them both!

I need to commend Spivak Law Firm for their representation of us. Our case was an extremely rare one, even in their eyes. The situation really didn't look to be in our favor on the surface. But Todd Spivak & Rebecca Canterbury worked really hard for us. They continuously met with us & explained to us, in detail, all steps in the process & prepared us for any possible set-backs. I can’t say enough or make any higher recommendations! Our family came to Mr. Spivak after spending $24k on a big firm when my grandson was taken out of state and a PFA filed against my son. After retaining him, he accomplished more In a short amount of time than the big firm. He was honest and conscientious of what we had already been through emotionally and financially. That was spring of 2018. Mr. Spivak came through again for us August 2019. Once again my grandson was removed from our home and another PFA falsely filed against my son. After my ex-girlfriend kicked me out threatening to press charges and a restraining order, I returned to Pennsylvania to be served a PFA order. The allegations were quite grave. I took another attorney to the previous hearing and there was an Indirect Criminal Contempt warrant out for my arrest because I accidentally poked her on Facebook whilst trying to block her. My attorney then could only think to sacrifice the house in order to avoid a final PFA and incarceration for the ICC; and it was my intent to do so which got us out of the warrant. So I thought for sure it was going to be an uphill battle when I changed my mind, and my attorney bailed on me. But I reached out to Todd to try and solve the situation. Todd was truly an advocate for my son. He was available for all of our questions, he went above and beyond to sort out a serious injustice and expose the ulterior motives behind it and avoid an unnecessary hearing. He negotiated well on my son's behalf and gave him a generous discount on his services as a courtesy. Todd helped me handle an abrupt devasting situation with the highest level of professionalism. I was served, without warning, with a fabricated bogus PFA. I'm in law enforcement and a PFA has the possibility of destroying my career. I also have two small children and the amount of stress I was under from the PFA was unbelievable.
