They told me they could do my whole case for 2k and wanted a thousand up front before I did this we talked, and I told a lawyer in his firm no pleas I had a lawyer previously that showed up to 1 hearing charged me a thousand and said just take the plea. I came in after explaining that to them on the phone they take my money postpone my case for a while. When my trial date comes up they tell me if I take a plea they won’t charge me a extra 500$ to go in there and look over it my thousand dollars would cover it because they won’t take my case to trial. I’m out of a thousand dollars after I told them my intentions they told me they’ll fight and after a few postponed dates they lay down and tell me they won’t do it, I basically just paid for them to tell me to take a plea agreement

I have the pleasure to say that I have had the opportunity of speaking and personally meeting Barb at Justin Ketchel's Law Firm. My first time was calling in to start the process of making sure I was calling the right firm to represent me. Barb was very courteous and kind. She went out of her way to answer all the questions I had in regards to my case. My case continued on for an extended period of time a lot due to COVID. Barb was always there to assist Attorney Justin Ketchel and Attorney Thomas McKinley in regards to my case. I started of with Attorney Anthony Jackson right when my DUID first started back in March of 2021 with the Pennsylvania State Police issuing me a DUID. Attorney Anthony Jackson was very respectful and reassured me that I had nothing to worry about. He reassured me that I had this case beat! That was when I was issued another DUID with a felony 3. These all being the prior year. Due to unforeseen circumstances Attorney Anthony Jackson left the practice. I was then reassigned to Attorney Thomas McKinley. I must first say I do have a Traumatic Brain Injury so I am a harder person to deal with at times. Understanding me at times takes time. Attorneys and Secretaries are usually some of the people that do not have the time nor the patience! That is until I met Barb and Tom! No Tom and I did not get off to a good note first! I would be lying if I said we did! I do not like many people since my brain injury! I see how so many people just do not care. People lie and just say whatever to shut you up! No one wants to hear you out. The truth. Sometimes people are accused of bad things and are actually innocent! Sometimes people swearing under oath are telling the truth! It's sad that I had to fight to prove my innocence not once but twice! It was a long and I mean LONG and HARD to WIN! Case! That I know for A FACT that if BARB and TOM with Justin Ketchel's office would not have been on my case I would have never won. Attorney McKinley was trustworthy, honest and reliable. He was willing to use any information that I provided that was helpful to the case of (Also some provided to me as well). Attorney McKinley and Barb and help that I had as well and myself we all fought for my Innocence my freedom my rights! We never gave up! I was proud to know that we gave it our all and in the end the truth was there and that's all I wanted. I can say that I was very pleased with how the office handled my case! I however hope I never have to do business with them on the criminal side again. Even if it's my family as it is very stressful. I wish anyone that has to go through it the very best. Especially if you do have a Traumatic Brain Injury. Please get the right support. You chose the right place in my opinion! Never Give Up! Becky Gordon
