My husband and I appreciated the way Jacob kept us constantly updated and relieved much of the anxiety that we had in the legal processes. He understands the needs of his clients, and works hard to meet all expectations. He went above and beyond in navigating us through this lawsuit, which ultimately ended in our favor (being released). Understanding the needs of a client; their expectations, financial limits, desired resolutions, as well as their non-negotiables is key to building a trusting relationship with an attorney. Jacob McCrea is an attorney you can trust. I have used Jake as council in a lawsuit against me, and for some family-on-family issues requiring legal advice and letter writing. As well as being a student of the law, Jacob is a student of people. In all my dealings with him, he has shown nothing but the utmost respect for me and for everyone else with whom he deals. That doesn’t mean that he will not fight hard for his clients, no matter how small. Jacob McCrea understands that not everyone can afford some lawyers’ high rates. He will work within your means when possible. He has very affordable rates and he does not waste your money on anything unnecessary.

On three different occasions I’ve approached Mr McCrea regarding different contractors failure to perform work correctly, complete a project, and attempting to exploit me by increasing a contract amount after not performing work agreed on by a signed contract. On each instance Mr McCrea provided me detailed explanation of the laws pertaining to the situation, outlined steps needed to resolve the issue and on one instance worked through the entire litigation process to obtain a judgement. On the other two occasions the contractors resolved the issues favorably to avoid further court action. I would approach Mr McCrea as my go to source on any legal matter for either his expertise or a referral in areas outside his practices expertise. Throughout my life I’ve worked with at least a dozen attorneys on various matters and I place Mr McCrea on the top of my list as having not only integrity, but being thorough and compassionate. I will always reach out to him before seeking a lawyer because I trust his advice and recommendations.

As new business owners we had a lot of questions and Jacob was able to answer all of them, while handling all of the necessary legal paperwork to get our business going. Jake is extremely professional and prompt in his communication. Any time I had a question, he would respond to me quickly, even in the evenings after business hours. He wrote a very detailed legal easement for me and also assisted me with other legal documents. I found him to be very knowledgeable, intelligent and well-informed in many legal matters. He was very quick to get everything taken care of and always kept me in the loop. When I had a legal issue arise, he took the time to address all of my questions and concerns and I never felt rushed or confused about what was going on.
