My experience was similar to that of the previous reviewer. I had two different attorneys representing me from this firm. They were both terrible at communicating with me. Any concerns or questions I had were mostly ignored even after asking multiple times. Attention to detail was also lacking. I was very concise and explicit with descriptions of paperwork I was asked to send in. Unfortunately, I would catch mistakes that were made in organizing and labeling certain files I sent to them when they would ask me to verify things. My first lawyer left the firm and I was given the choice to follow her to her new firm (no thanks!) or stay with Voelker & Kairys. I chose to stay with this firm and be represented by a different lawyer within the firm. At first, communication was decent. It quickly became apparent that my new lawyer was just as bad as my first. Again, I was dealing with questions and concerns being ignored. My estranged spouse and their legal counsel were playing aggressively, constantly sending me threatening letters. Meanwhile, my legal counsel just sat idly by and refused to be aggressive on my part. The last straw was when I had to ask 3 times about how to prepare for a fast approaching support conference and got no response to my query. This firm truly does what they can to churn a case and run up the costs in their favor. Additionally, the billing does not reflect actual time spent on each task. A vague monthly bill is sent that shows the total time spent on the case since the last bill but does not break down the time spent on each task listed. I would not recommend Voelker & Kairys, LLC for a divorce case. I have since hired a different firm to represent me. My new lawyer actually found in my file that neither of my previous attorneys filed paperwork to protect my assets during the divorce process. It was a basic thing to do in a divorce case and it wasn't done by my last two attorneys.

Very helpful and talented people. I had a bad car accident and Mr. Gismondi took great care of me and all of my needs. Definitely the people to go to when you have an accident - I don’t know about anything else, but I assume they are just as professional and hard-working in any case.

John was retained by my wife while I was recovering from a horrific accident that nearly took my life. Upon waking from my coma and finding out he was my lawyer I wasn’t sure of him as I hadn’t heard of him before. After checking with a few of his fellow attorneys who are friends of mine I was convinced he’d do well for me. The last sentence turned out to be the biggest understatement ever as he and his staff greatly outperformed even my wildest expectations. I have recommended his office to anyone who have or ever will need the quality representation that he and his staff provide.

He was always caring, considerate, & professional in handling my case from beginning to end. I was very pleased with his knowledge about PI cases, and with the outcome of my case. I would highly recommend him to anyone with a personal injury! Don't hesitate to contact him - because the insurance companies do not have your best interests at heart - but Attorney Glassmith will!

Excellent team of attorneys to work with. They spend time making sure that your case is correct, that you are informed and understand the process. I found them to be very professional and knowledgeable and likable. Easy group to work with and an easy call to them gets it all started.

The Law offices of Gismondi and Associates is one of the best firms in Pittsburgh if not the entire state of Pennsylvania.
