Great personal injury lawyer. You will not be disappointed in choosing this law firm to represent you in your case.

Extremely poor communication, they do not know their clients!! Send out documents late. The attorneys would prefer to go through costly litigation! They are about making more money for the firm. Do not even deserve 1 star.

Very knowledgeable and experienced attorneys. Family law is tough for the client and the attorney involved. Family law, divorce and custody, are full of volatile emotions. Chuck Voelker and Nicole Kairys both are compassionate about the law to help their clients achieve the best possible outcomes. They take time to learn about the families and situations involved. I was well prepared for all possible outcomes when I appeared in court with Nicole and Chuck. They were direct, honest and experienced in what the resolutions may include which may not be what you want or expect. Their experience showed as a true advantage in my cases. Above all they were concerned for myself and my children's well being. I would highly recommend them for any family law matter.

I retained their services and from Day 1 I was impressed by their professionalism, timely communication, and judicious use of time. There is always a concern that attorneys will have their best interest and monetary gains at heart. My experience was the complete opposite. They provided me with valuable advice and expertise to navigate my situation And garner a quick resolution that was beneficial for all parties. I will not use another law firm in Pittsburgh as I believe they provided better service than I could have received anywhere else. I would recommend their services to anyone that has a need. In fact, I have already recommended them to several family members and friends and each one of them has expressed their appreciation for helping them find a great partner in their time of need.

Attorney Nicole Kairys helped me and a friend with a very personal issue in 2013. She listened, followed up professionally, and helped us deal with a situation that was not easy. For almost 6 years, Nicole was always there when we needed any questions answered. When our situation came to an end, Nicole showed up to a very private and personal moment to share in our grief. We respect her and appreciate everything she helped us with along the way.

My experience was similar to that of the previous reviewer. I had two different attorneys representing me from this firm. They were both terrible at communicating with me. Any concerns or questions I had were mostly ignored even after asking multiple times. Attention to detail was also lacking. I was very concise and explicit with descriptions of paperwork I was asked to send in. Unfortunately, I would catch mistakes that were made in organizing and labeling certain files I sent to them when they would ask me to verify things. My first lawyer left the firm and I was given the choice to follow her to her new firm (no thanks!) or stay with Voelker & Kairys. I chose to stay with this firm and be represented by a different lawyer within the firm. At first, communication was decent. It quickly became apparent that my new lawyer was just as bad as my first. Again, I was dealing with questions and concerns being ignored. My estranged spouse and their legal counsel were playing aggressively, constantly sending me threatening letters. Meanwhile, my legal counsel just sat idly by and refused to be aggressive on my part. The last straw was when I had to ask 3 times about how to prepare for a fast approaching support conference and got no response to my query. This firm truly does what they can to churn a case and run up the costs in their favor. Additionally, the billing does not reflect actual time spent on each task. A vague monthly bill is sent that shows the total time spent on the case since the last bill but does not break down the time spent on each task listed. I would not recommend Voelker & Kairys, LLC for a divorce case. I have since hired a different firm to represent me. My new lawyer actually found in my file that neither of my previous attorneys filed paperwork to protect my assets during the divorce process. It was a basic thing to do in a divorce case and it wasn't done by my last two attorneys.

Very helpful and talented people. I had a bad car accident and Mr. Gismondi took great care of me and all of my needs. Definitely the people to go to when you have an accident - I don’t know about anything else, but I assume they are just as professional and hard-working in any case.
