I could not be more satisfied with the result of my case. I was hesitant to call a lawyer when I was harassed at work and was not sure that it would be worth pursing. I was impressed with Attorney Cordes' honest and straightforward opinion. He did not just tell me what I wanted to hear, he explained all of the possible consequences and outcomes of my situation. It was a long process and there were many times that I wanted to quit, but Attorney Cordes and his staff were there for me every step of the way.

I am very glad that I choose Mr. Cordes to handle my case against my former employer. He promptly responded to my emails (even on weekends and after business hours). He also took the time to explain the procedure to me and answer any questions I had. I came to Mr Cordes with a very unusual employment problem. I had been to several other lawyers first and none of them said I had a case. Mr Cordes not only saw a case but he convinced a judge that we were right. I loved how my employer hired a bunch of Harvard lawyers and they lost one thing after another with the judge. I contacted this attorney, after he was recommended by a large firm in Pittsburgh. One of his associates was to return my call. After a week, I called and spoke with the attorney who was rude and wouldn't let me talk. He spoke loud enough for my family to hear straight through the phone. (So I contacted and began working with another attorney who was very patient, nice and wasn't arrogant.) After a week and a half, he called back and said he couldn't take my case. I attempted to ask him a question, and he said he couldn't help me because he wasn't taking my case. Again he had a terrible attitude and was very rude. I will never recommend this group. I felt that he had a condescending attitude and made me feel like I was inconveniencing him.

Being subjected to the judicial system with my divorce and seeing the enormous stress and the possible dishonest tactics from the opponent, I knew the qualities mentioned were a must! I tend to be on the timid side and had to adjust, but didn't mind because deep down knew Sam was the right lawyer for my discrimination case. My case was won and I received my back pay as well as returned to my position in the company.
