George did a terrific job for us start to finish! He was extremely consultative and helpful in the beginning, even before I paid him. One thing I noticed immediately was his command of detail regarding the various laws and potential issues with our case. It also seemed like he sincerely enjoyed his work, and that has been a good barometer for me in the past when hiring people. He set the right expectations up front (it might not go the way you want, but this is the smartest way to play it), gave us perfect advice leading into our trial, and because of his expert legal counsel we ended up with the exact result we were hoping for. I sought out a consultation with George after a loved one found themselves in a bit of a pickle. Being from out of state I found myself full of questions and not getting a lot of straight forward answers from other lawyers I was in contact with. Some were to laissez faire for my particular questions, some were younger and too cocky in the way they answered my questions, George Heym was my goldilocks story. Not only did he take his time to explain a judicial system I was unfamiliar with, he answered all of my in depth, even the hypothetical questions as well. His patience with me was incredibly appreciated, especially because I was not given all of the necessary information by the local police department that we were involved with. He gave me an upfront cost when other lawyer's explanations of their prices seemed to elude to hidden fees. He also gave me best and worst case scenarios and I didn't get off the phone with him feeling as though he told me only what I wanted to hear, as was my perception of other law offices. He made me feel secure and at ease. He was able to ask the courts to get two dates that we originally scheduled 2 weeks apart more conveniently scheduled so an abundant amount of travel costs were spared. Here's the best part, during the preliminary hearing, George's spidey sense kicked in. He dug a bit deeper after the paperwork came in and was able to get the charge DROPPED due to particular circumstances!! This not only saved us potential conviction fines but travel expenses, court costs, evaluation fees, and raised motor vehicle insurance prices. I can't say enough good things about George or recommend him more. 10/10 would hire again, but by all means, I hope I never have to.

As someone who has never been in any trouble before, Mr. Heym was very helpful! Throughout the entire process he made sure I knew exactly what was going to happen and what would be happening next. He was quick to answer any questions I had and would provide very thorough explanations to his answers. He made me feel relaxed during such a scary time. This man knows what he is doing!!
