I was in contact with Mike and a very nice man named Samir. They helped me out a lot and gave me peace of mind. It was nice as this was the first time in my life that I ever needed a lawyer. All though neither Mike or Samir could make it to my hearing, they sent another lawyer who was very nice and intelligent. In the end my misdemeanor was dropped to a disorderly conduct. I appreciate the entire staff at the Worgul Law firm and would recommend 100%

Where to begin, I guess I should start at the beginning... My ex-wife, a vengeful angry women, who has not gotten over the divorce in July 2014, accused me of stealing her lawn mower, even though it was clearly spelled out in our property settlement agreement that it was my property. She called the cops on me, who eventually charged me with 'theft by unlawful taking' and had me arrested soon after. Knowing that I was innocent of any wrong doing I began the criminal process on my own. Attending the pre-trial conference and hearing without an attorney. After fighting for a jury trial, knowing that would potentially cost the city as much $$ and time as possible, I was in the position of litigating my own criminal trial. After speaking with DA, I soon realized I would not be competent enough to continue pro se (i.e. On my own), so I sought to find the best defense attorney in the city to help defend by honor and innocence. I google searched "best pittsburgh defense attorneys" and Worgul law firm was first on the list. I have to say I was skeptical, my dealing with attorneys in the past were not pleasant and I was weary at hiring one. However on my first meeting with Matt Ness, esq., I was quickly reassured I made the right decision. Matt understood my situation instantly, and took the time on our first meeting to map out a potential scenario and plan. He even missed a lunch with his wife to speak with me, apparently aware of my uneasiness. I had planned on taking time and shopping around before selecting an attorney, though Matt just sold me right then and there. Within an hour, I had paid (not a cheap amount) the fee and was promised he would give his all to see it through, not giving any promises and being as honest as possible (for a lawyer, anyway). As the time came for the trial, Matt answered all my emails timely, requests for information without the hint of annoyance and met with me to prepare. I trusted him, which I don't do often. And sure enough, on the day of jury selection Matt convinced the judge that this criminal proceeding should be dismissed; and without an actual trial, my problem and the subject of much anxiety, was over. I returned to work without a hiccup and continued my life with an unblemished record. Mike and Samir have been fantastic from the initial phone call to the end. They were so kind and reassuring as I went through my case and were always close at hand to answer any questions I may have had. Very thorough with explanations and completely understanding. Felt very well represented. I am so thankful I turned to them in my situation and would highly recommend to anyone.

Don't hire this firm if you have any serious charges. Mike Worgul was hired for a case and went on vacation the weekend before the trial. Told his client not to take a great plea deal of 4 to 8 years and the client ended up getting 9 to 18 years. You hire Mike and get somebody else. Way to go Mike.

Samir Sarna is a wizard. He took care of everything regarding my case. I live out of state and wasn't able to appear for the hearing. Even in my absence, Samir got the case dismissed. From the first phone call with Samir (at like 8 pm) I knew he would be the best man for the job.
