Laurie was court appointed to me. I thought that may result in poor preparation for the case, or an attitude of not caring if I won or lost. On the contrary. Laurie did an amazing job. Persistence in interviewing the arresting officer led him to make mistakes on the stand and that resulted in the judge dropping most of my more serious charges. During a very diffcult time in my life I hired Laurie and it was a great decision to say the least. There were many details in my case that she could have been very biased towards me over but she treated me like a person and was respectful throughout the whole case which speaks to the type of person she is . She is very professional and diligent, and kept me updated throughout the case so I knew what was going on. I could tell the extra effort she put in is what got my case withdrawn (won), and she genuinely seemed to care about what happened to me instead of just treating me like another customer. In life you need each area of expertise covered (mechanic, contractor, family doctor), and I now know I have my lawyer covered now if I ever need one.
