Was told that there was nothing that could be done but could retainer her for $600 for a small traffic citation. Gave a deposit of $200 and was told that if I do not use her that it was be refunded minus the $75 consultation fee. Instead I received a letter stating that she was keeping my money and that I should be charged an addition $175 on top of it. 2 voicemails were left and that is being charged as 10 mins each which cost $50, and the voicemail were 30 secs each and it was left by her receptionist.

I recommend Ms. Cappolella highly – Ms. Cappolella came highly recommended by a family friend to help in my divorce. The case had twists, both by my request and demands from my ex’s attorney. She kept me fully apprised through every step and explained everything in detail, weighing pros/cons. I was very pleased with the process and results. I have retained Ms. Cappolella for other issues including finalizing an aunt’s estate that involved numerous heirs (including two “difficult” ones). She also helped when my mother passed, guiding me through the entire process. Both estates were resolved quickly and to everyone’s satisfaction. I have consulted with her on other issues as well. She gladly gives direction and opinion no matter the size of the issue. I have recommended Ms. Cappolella to several close friends for various matters. They have all thanked me for connecting them and have made her “their lawyer”. Ms. Cappolella is extremely professional and very responsive - anticipating issues and reacting quickly. Her communication skills are excellent. Not only her writings for the case, but general communications. All parties are kept informed. She has a calming demeanor. Ms. Cappolella is thorough and meticulous. She makes certain things are thought out, risks evaluated, and options in place. She explains the process fully so that you understand it. While some attorneys opt to charge top of scale, Ms. Cappolella is very fair with billings. My coming prepared was reflected. Terrible experience. Charged thousands for photo copies and research because "the laws had changed". Her education was my expense. Answers and advise where all the same "I don't know what to tell ya" or "What do you think"? If you want an aggressive and educated attorney you will want to seek elsewhere. Very disappointed. Sought another attorney.
