My experience with attorney Polyak was great. He is an excellent lawyer who brought an outcome much better than I expected. I highly recommend him to anyone with a criminal case.

Hello everyone, first I want to start off by thanking Joseph Guillama and his office. If it wasn’t for him I would not have my son today. I am a 31 year old male who was seeking primary custodianship of my 8 year old son. The odds were already against me being that I am an active military member and the fact that I reside out of state. The child resided with his mother in Pennsylvania for the past 5 years. With that being said, Joe was upfront right away and told me this case was a long shot and there were no certainties of winning or even getting close to winning due to the circumstances of the case. I searched around numerous times for lawyers that were willing to accept the case and the uphill battle I would be facing, but none of them would accept it. Joe took the challenge after hearing my story and was transparent with everything he did. There was never a doubt in my mind that I picked the right lawyer to represent me. His professionalism, dedication, attention to detail and most importantly communication by far exceeded my expectations. The case took longer than we both anticipated due to the defendant not being cooperative but 10 months later, I have my son and I couldn’t be happier. I am writing this review to not only tell others about my successful story with Joe but to inform others, if you are seeking help from a well knowledgeable lawyer and if you are a service member than look no further. I highly recommend The Law Offices of Joseph A. Guillama. As any other lawyer the standard fee’s apply and might seem high to you but I promise you he is worth every penny.

I have always been a little skeptical of lawyers so I made sure to do my research when my husband and I were looking for a lawyer to handle his new child custody case. From the moment I met Joe I felt instantly at ease and I knew we made the best decision hiring him. I can be a little long winded and wanted to make sure he had all the background information and new information of what we were dealing with. Joe took it all in and never asked me to stop. If I emailed him he would always get back to me very quickly. I appreciated that because I also tend to worry and over think things. I was falsely accused of lying on a gun application. I explained to the authorities that this was a genuine misunderstanding; a clerical error. The DA did not want to hear anything but a guilty plea. My explanation fell upon "deaf" ears and I was charged with Unsworn Falsification of Documents. I was told if I tried to fight this charge (which would result in a MINIMUM of 1 year probation and a $1,000 fine) I would be charged with felony Perjury. Fortunately, I found Attorney Polyak. He had seen this situation before and I felt like I was in good hands from the moment we met. With Jim Polyak's relentless, hard work, he was able to convince the judge of my innocence. He was able to change my original guilty plea to a small fine and nothing on my record. Attorney Polyak is a true professional with great experience, confidence, and knowledge of the law. I will recommend EVERYONE I know who needs a criminal attorney to James M. Polyak. I can never thank him enough!

My husband was unfortunately recently charged with a 2nd DUI, after reading the previous post I would have to disagree. While we don't hear from Mr.Polyak constantly when we do we realize how hard he has been working. He is an experienced lawyer and always has the answer when we have a question. Our case is still ongoing but we know that the best possible outcome will be achieved with Mr. Polyak as our attorney. Would highly recommend.

Attorney Polyak was my legal counsel for my DUI cases. Unfortunately, I had two within a year, mainly due to a multitude of personal and emotional trauma. I appreciated his lack of judgement of me and was understanding of my dilemma and life events. Mr. Polyak was professional, informative and honest. Being in this situation is very frightening but Attorney Polyak helped ease my fears. He did not give me any unrealistic information but rather the truth which made the outcome easier to deal with.
