Horrible business

I went to the Slocum law firm on October 18, 2018 for a Personal Injury matter. I spoke to Matt on the phone he made me feel that he was the right choice for the case. He made me feel welcome and was very respectful and even stated he was here for me. So I went to the office, needless to say, I did not get the service or welcome that I had expected. First off I walked in and seen Mike at the front desk, he told me to have a seat, Matt came out shook my hand and never seen him again. Mike whoever he is said he was gonna sign me up, and wait to see how bad my injury is then if it is he will proceed to file a claim, Mike was not even a lawyer, I assume he was a paralegal. I did paralegal work for many years, and I would assist the Attorney, not sign someone up for a case without the Attorney being present, that to me is a Lawyers job not the paralegal. I decided not to retain the firm due to that experience. I see great reviews from this firm, one of the reasons why I chose to call the firm. The only reason for 2 stars is because Matt was nice enough to shake my hand. I went to another lawyer who was more respectful and did things the right way.

The Slocum Firm is the best, I highly recommend them.

I am a lawyer who only handles serious injury cases. I have worked with the Slocum Firm on several cases. They are great, compassionate lawyers who work very hard.
