I knew Jason did great work based on what he did for my roommate back in 2012. This year (2017) when it came to light that my own lawyer from the same incident had failed to followup on my case and did not complete my expungement, I turned to Jason. First it was just an SOS; I couldn't find my original lawyer, didn't know how to proceed, and no other legal group had been very helpful. Jason jumped right in, advised me that the path I was heading down was wrong, and so I hired him to finish the job that my first lawyer failed to complete. He was courteous, sympathetic, prompt, and was in regular contact with me, updating me and making sure I received copies of everything. He and his team got the job done thoroughly and quickly. They cleaned up someone else's mess and put my life back on track. I cannot recommend Jason Dunkle highly enough. He's a fantastic lawyer and a truly good person. He does what he does to help people. And he most certainly helped me.

Highly recommend! I dealt with Mr. Jason Dunkle a few years back. Unlike another lawyer I had consulted, Jason was VERY RESPONSIVE and helpful not just before I paid him (many lawyers are responsive before they get paid), but even after I paid him. You could tell by speaking to him that he feels and understands what you are going through and that he wants to do anything in his power to help you. Looking back I realize that I shouldn't have even bothered with the other consultation. Jason was the right guy for the job. In fact, I am so pleased with his efforts that I recommended him to all of my friends at Penn State. If all attorneys were like Mr. Dunkle there would be less corruption and justice wouldn't be so flawed. He is the reason I am where I am today.

Well let me begin by saying Jason was my husband second lawyer. The first lawyer was only interested in money and I mean hourly money for promises that never fell through. Jason was referred to me by a lawyer in Philadelphia, I reached out to him via telephone as I was 300 miles away. He called, he heard my husband statement and immediately stated he would take his case. Of course there was a fee but he also provided a payment arrangement that worked for all of us. My husband case wasn't small, in fact it was a drug case, not your normal DUI Penn State college student case. Jason haven't had before and was willing to attack it. He promised to win my husband case. After losing trial and willing the case in Appellate court. We thought we'd won but suddenly the DA decided to Appeal the decision. So here comes Supreme Court and months of waiting for an outcome of dismissal. Jason won!!! Words can't even describe how thankful I am that i found Jason for the defense of my DUI charge. I was facing a 3rd and a year in jail and through his knowledge of the laws got it to be my 1st and only 3 days in jail. 3 and a half years later and finally returning to a normal life, i needed help in getting my license back because the dmv "misplaced" it. While he didn't need to even help at all at this point, one conversation with Jason and my license was in the mail the next day. He really made a difference in the outcome of my situation as a whole and I am forever grateful.

Jason I hired a lawyer but I made a friend; good luck to you and your practice. The students at Penn State who make one bad or dumb decision need someone like you to ensure it won't define them for the rest of their lives and careers.

When my wife and I received that dreaded call from our son at Penn State regarding a lapse in judgment I did what any parent (whose father happens to be an attorney) would do. I needed to retain a top notch attorney. So I did my thorough and exhaustive research which lead me to Jason Dunkle. That is the only credit I can take - the rest belongs to Jason and his staff. He was exceptionally proactive, responsive and above all else supportive and understanding. We couldn't have been more relieved or pleased with his guidance, representation or the outcome of our son's case. While there are certainly other attorneys in the Penn State area that handle cases involving lapses in judgment by college students - all I can tell you as a parent and an attorney is that if any of the sons or daughters of my friends or acquaintances should find themselves in need of representation at Penn State, I would, without hesitation, tell them to immediately contact Jason. After receiving the dreaded call from our son informing us he received a public drunkenness citation at a tailgate, we weren't sure what our next steps should be. Living eight hours away, it was extremely difficult. I had an attorney friend in State College that I hadn't seen in many years, but called him for some advice. He doesn't handle anything my son would be facing, but both he and his assistant highly recommended Jason Dunkle. They said "if it were my son, Jason would definitely be the attorney I would contact"! I hung up the phone and called Jason. Jason was able to have the charges reduced to underage drinking, Shelley followed up months later and worked with us to file to have the record expunged after his 21st birthday. We were thrilled to receive the final notification that the record has been expunged! Jason could not have done anything any better - He is an incredible attorney and a great man!! My son needed help , he made some poor choices. Jason was there for us, he explained everything in detailed and was able to aide us with a favorable outcome. Jason was not just my son's attorney, who handled the legal issues, he was a mentor and helped my son get through a stressful time. Jason did it all at a very fair price. I would also like to add that Jason helped me out, I live far from State College and couldn't be there to support my son in person, Mr. Dunkle again stepped up and helped us all through a very stressful time. I am a parent of a child attending Penn State. I got the phone call, "Dad. I'm in big trouble and it is not my fault". Well, if you ask me, it was his fault and he was facing felony conviction of cocaine with intent to sell. He could have easily spent the next two years in jail, instead of on the Dean's List. Jason Dunkle was recommended to me by a prominent attorney, not in the State College area. He said, “If my son was in that kind of trouble, this is the person I would want to represent him”. We recently hired Jason to help us after our son received an underage under the influence offence. I am a criminal defense attorney myself so I know how important it is to hire a top rate attorney. We had spoken to another lawyer who told us that our son didn't need an attorney because he could apply for the first time offender program. However, when I heard the facts of my son's case, I truly believed he had a defense and that an experienced attorney may find a way to get the case dismissed. When Jason heard the case, he saw the same issues I did and said he would fight for our son. Jason was 100% successful. When the court case was heard, he was able to get the case outright dismissed. I firmly believe this is because he is an outstanding attorney who knows the law and is well respected. Never let your child go to court without an attorney. It is well worth hiring Jason.
