I recommend Joe to anyone who needs legal assistance. Joe not only was a great lawyer and extremely successful in my case, he truly cared about me as a client and did anything and everything he could for my case. Unlike other lawyers, he even accepted phone calls at night and on the weekends. In 2013, I was arrested for public drunkeness and we walked out of the courtroom with a verdict that I wasn't even expecting. He was also able to get it expunged off of my record. He helped me more than I could have even asked for, to say the least. Being a penn state student, I was very worried about how this was going to affect me academically, and Joe was able to give me a clean slate. I am more than thankful for Joe and what he did for me, and I would not reccomend any other lawyer in the State College area.

As an undergraduate at PSU I received a citation that required legal guidance. I reached out to Joe for representation in a time when he had much larger cases on his plate.....despite this, he took the time to call me, take my case, and explain the road ahead. When I had my day in court, Joe stepped up to the plate and we left the court room with the verdict I desired. Joe dedicated his heart and mind my case...despite it being on a much smaller scale than some of his other professional cases at the time. I highly recommend Joe.

Joe had previously helped a member of my family years ago. When I was facing serious charges of my own I contacted him right away. He immediately came to my assistance and reassured me that my case would be resolved in a favorable way. He did a fantastic job in several court proceedings for me. Always responded right away to any questions I had about my case. Joe is not just an excellent attorney but also cares about each and every one of his clients. Taking calls and emails at night and on weekends. I would reccomend Joe to anyone facing criminal charges. Couldn't have asked for a more caring, professional person to be by my side through the most difficult time.

When I was a freshman at PSU, I was arrested for stealing a cd player from a fraternity house. My RA turned me in to the police, and I spent the night at Center County jail. My mother contacted friends who had relatives that lived in State College, and they emphatically recommended Joe Amendola. He was very calm and assuring to me and my family, and helped us through the legal process. I was very grateful for Joe's help, and his approach to me was of a concerned parent. The end result was that I was given probation and 100 hours of community service, but more importantly, the entire ordeal helped me straighten myself out and became more dedicated to my studies. Joe helped me get a clean slate and second chance, but he also made sure I was a better person at the conclusion of my ordeal.

I was stopped for a DUI a few years ago. A family member suggested that I call Joe, since he has a good reputation for handling DUIs in the State College community. I wasn't disappointed. Not only is Joe super knowledgeable about how the DUI process works, but he was able to coach me through the process and help me get my life (and license) back on track as fast as possible. I don't wish a DUI on anyone, but if you're ever in that kind of situation, I recommend you call Joe.

When I was a Penn State undergrad, I got into trouble with the local police for underage drinking and disorderly conduct. My parents and I were referred to Joe by a family friend. We had tried a few other local attorneys on for size, but we just really hit it off with Joe. The charges I faced weren't life threatening, but Joe did a great job of calming family fears and presenting a few options for working with authorities to resolve the issue. He seemed to have a positive professional relationship with the arresting officer and the district justice. That instilled confidence in my family that things were moving in the right direction. In the end, I was able to face the consequences of my actions, but do so in a manner that didn't continue to haunt me later in life in the form of an alcohol-related offense on my record. I'm very thankful for that and would certainly recommend Joe Amendola to any Penn State students and parents who find themselves in a similar situation.
